Perfect for those that use a laptop for everyday use. I use it for work and to make big purchases. I was a Windows person before and after going to Mac I have been blown. They’re just so much faster and secure.

I bought this model about 6 months ago (October, 2022), and the screen has cracked from the inside. I went to the Apple Store to see about my issue because the laptop didn’t fall or have any sort of water damage so I was confused as to why it cracked for no reason. These laptop screens are VERY FRAGILE and I was told that dust trapped within the closed laptop could cause a crack such as the one my laptop has. Without applecare I will have to pay $600 just to replace it when I did nothing to cause for it to crack. Mind you, the laptop has a screen cover, keyboard cover, and a case.Also, we weren’t told that this laptop was that fragile to this extent when we purchased it so just be warned.

Bought for my niece for online school work. Very fast response to keyboard input . Reliable for any wi-fi connection. So far good battery time. Display is awesome.

It's a great, light weight Airbook. AND the battery holds a charge for days on end! My only complaint is that the volume isn't loud enough during playback of streamed movies. OK, I guess that might actually be this old lady's hearing......

Laptop is very light and sleek looking. The screen is also very hd looking. Just don’t like that you have to do a lot of keyboard shortcuts to do certain things.

Just bought 2 of these for my boys . They are going to college and the school recommends this model. They worked great out of the box and are extremely fast doing school.

Wonderful computer. I love the keyboard and the processing speed. Makes me want to write. Value blows my mind because its under $1000 and is super light but performs like a macbook pro.

Upgrading from a 2013 MacBook Pro that weighed like a ton of bricks. This M1 Air is perfect for what I need for school. It’s light and fast and doesn’t get hot like the old one I had.

Overall the performance is way better than what I upgraded from (chrome books and minimal function type laptops), the general user friendly nature of it is *awesome*, many great perks. My only qualm- For being as well spoken of and highly regarded- I expected *more* in performance such as...being able to handle a few+ internet tabs open, adobe acrobat with a decently dense code in it, some Microsoft apps, and idk, maybe other small things...but alas- it often times "pre-crashes" on me? Where it prompts me to force-quit apps to prevent failure, etc. I bought this...so that would stop happening! Guess I need an even *bigger* 256SSD/8GB Memory/Everything- Not enough!? o.O I'm not running any crazy programs or whatever, I'm a pretty simple PC/MAC user honestly. The most complex is the occassional PDF with JavaScript (I'm new to it- idk anything about it), or playing with Dreamweaver like a kindergartener would, to using Roll20 and Discord with background tabs sitting there and various other "resting" pages chilling there. Oh well, guess I'll wait/suffer another 5-10 years to get another upgrade xD

This is the perfect laptop for virtually anything. The M1 chip handles all of my editing software which is just what I needed, I dabbled in gaming on the labtop too, runs smooth as butter. The quality is amazing, the screen size is perfect aswell, no need to get the big one unless you really want it.

Best portable labtop with 18 hours battery and a strong CPU. Strongly recommend.
