Get this on sale and it's arguably the best deal to break into the Apple environment. Yes, the hard drive is small so if you can swing it get the next up (you cannot upgrade it yourself since everything is soldered to the board now, I mean go ahead and try there's just a high chance of failure). I bought this not for the processing power (it works great for what I need, no crazy graphical work) but because of the efficiency. The M1 chip is uncanny, I can do so much internet browsing / miscellaneous work and the battery just lasts forever. Charging it really does not take that long either, with charging it briefly still amounting to at least an hour of work. Yes, 8GB of RAM is not the best standard in this day and age but 8GB soldered to the board seems to be on par with 16GB of RAM in your basic Windows Machines! Price matched with MicroCenter (despite them telling me they do not do that at first) and got this for $850 -- an Apple laptop for that price I know will last.

I’ve had the Same MacBook since 2013; so I decided to Pick up the Latest Model available. By Far the Fastest Laptop I’ve ever owned, and the design/weight of it is Incredible.

Definitely an upgrade from my earlier Macbook Air. I was blown away by the speed of the laptop overall, especially without having the excess noise from a fan blowing 24/7! I wouldn’t change anything about it!

Amazing laptop, especially for the price. No Windows laptop under $1000 comes remotely close to this device, in terms of power, battery life, screen quality, keyboard, touchpad, etc.

I am upgrading from a 2012 air. First off, the display, speakers, and trackpad are a huge upgrade and way better than any windows laptop I have ever had. This thing is also PACKED with power! I use adobe after effects and despite it using rosseta with my plugins, it performs just as good, or if not better than my desktop PC (r5 3600, RX570) Battery life on browser based tasks make this thing last many hours without being tethered to a wall.

Easy to navigate and setup. Love this computer! Battery life is way better than previous macs I’ve owned.

I owned a MacBook Air since 2014 and I thought it was time for an upgrade and this is a night and day difference. I hope this will last just as long as my last!

I've owned the newer M2 MacBook Air, and I prefer the older M1 for its form factor, as a portable laptop. It's still got plenty of power and battery life to be quite functional, but is the closest modern equivalent to a netbook (ultraportable, light, yet functional). The newer M2 *feels* more breakable and fragile, while the curved top and bottom of this design gives it a much more durable feel.

This is the perfect laptop for virtually anything. The M1 chip handles all of my editing software which is just what I needed, I dabbled in gaming on the labtop too, runs smooth as butter. The quality is amazing, the screen size is perfect aswell, no need to get the big one unless you really want it.

If you have owned a MacBook Air in the past… You will be pleasantly surprised with the upgraded capabilities of the M1 chip. In my personal opinion, it rivals last year‘s version of the MacBook Pro

The MacBook is great. It is easy to use and the security features is nice. I always wanted a MacBook for music rearrangements and the music band app is wonderful. I am able to add an extension so I can interface it with devices. The MacBook is so versatile and I so glad to have one. The service I received from Best Buy was exemplary and helped me with my decision making.

I love my new MacBook, Air, I have already purchased Quicken and installed it to help keep us on budget. The speed and battery life adds to our enjoyment! Would definitely recommend it.
