I was looking to replace an aging windows laptop that has updates every week. The last straw was when it locked up on a very important app and the app would not work even after a reboot. Before I bought this laptop I have never owned an iPad or MacBook. It took less than 30 minutes to do the initial update, setup and install all my apps. My only problem is that a program like Parallels desktop is needed to run a couple of windows only programs and games. The battery life is great, good speakers, charges with my iPhone charger, it’s not heavy, has not crashed, good screen, nice aluminum body, etc etc.

I LOVE my MacBook Vortex so much! It is the perfect computer for my business. Google “The Vortex Queen” 10 stars for sexiness and sleekness. So glad I chose the silver over rose gold.

This is by far the best laptop I’ve ever owned. So easy to use and great battery. I would highly recommend.

Very Similar! The main differences that I can see are that you have more USB ports on the Pro, and you are able to run the pro without the processor throttling down to a slower speed because of thermal issues. Basically, the Pro has a Fan, the Air doesn't. I bought the Air with 8gb, however ive decided to return it for a Pro with 16gb. I thought 8 would be enough, but it turns out After Effects needs a lot of ram.

The perfect size and works great! I bought it for college and it has exceeded all of my expectations.

Due to a 3 year work assignment that required traveling, I needed a laptop to carry with me. I'm already a fan of MAC's, having a MAC mini and 2 iPad Airs. So this purchase was a no-brainer for me. As I've come to expect from Apple, this laptop delivers for what I need. Fast processor and wi-fi connectivity. Reminder: if you need to connect peripherals, you'll have to buy an adapter from Apple, at $19.00 on the Apple store.

My first Apple computer after using Microsoft for my career. Sales representative suggested since I had an Apple watch and phone, the computer would "talk with them." He was correct, and the transition was quite easy. I must admit that Gabe and Allen in Geek Squad, did need to answer numerous questions pertaining to "how do I? They were knowledgable and very helpful. I have become quite comfortable with the MacBook Air, and enjoy the sound, battery life, quality and the clarity of the screen. I am very satisfied with the computer, and would definitely recommend it.

I bought this for my fiance since her old one stopped working and it is perfect for what she needed for her daily work -- and for such a low price, I couldn't pass it up! She's so happy with this purchase!
