Really good computer and inlike it alot. Its is really light weight and easybto carry and work with.

I love love love this laptop. Perfect sized screen, love the slim design, I purchased a bluetooth mouse to go with it as I work regularly with design programs and the touch mouse isn't as conducive to that kind of work. For everything else, super easy to use. I've had Macs my whole life, this is my first laptop purchase, I am very happy with how I can link all my mobile devices too. So I can save in one place and have it ready for me on all devices later. One feature I also love is the fingerprint. Super easy to save passwords without having to remember them all!

Great computer for the price, everything runs smoothly so far. Screen might be small for some people.

This laptop is what I was looking for, it is very user friendly and I really enjoy working on it. The keyboard is stylish and easy to the touch, it is not heavy, it is fast enough for me.

The macbook Air is perfect. It is lightweight and it's so comfortable to use.I can carry it everywhere. It is definitely a great companion in grad school. The color is so pretty.

I was not much of an Apple fan but was tired of constantly purchasing new computers. I am now hooked! I love this little laptop. Just wish it had a number pad on the side. The lady at Best Buy was very helpful in making sure I purchased the correct memory and hard drive for my needs.

Get this on sale and it's arguably the best deal to break into the Apple environment. Yes, the hard drive is small so if you can swing it get the next up (you cannot upgrade it yourself since everything is soldered to the board now, I mean go ahead and try there's just a high chance of failure). I bought this not for the processing power (it works great for what I need, no crazy graphical work) but because of the efficiency. The M1 chip is uncanny, I can do so much internet browsing / miscellaneous work and the battery just lasts forever. Charging it really does not take that long either, with charging it briefly still amounting to at least an hour of work. Yes, 8GB of RAM is not the best standard in this day and age but 8GB soldered to the board seems to be on par with 16GB of RAM in your basic Windows Machines! Price matched with MicroCenter (despite them telling me they do not do that at first) and got this for $850 -- an Apple laptop for that price I know will last.

I love how im able to switch from my desktop over to this when doing work. Does exactly what I need it to do.

Such a huge upgrade from our prior (2016?) model which got to be really loud trying to cool it off and horrible battery. This thing is light, excellent battery life and improved speaker setup

I was looking to replace an aging windows laptop that has updates every week. The last straw was when it locked up on a very important app and the app would not work even after a reboot. Before I bought this laptop I have never owned an iPad or MacBook. It took less than 30 minutes to do the initial update, setup and install all my apps. My only problem is that a program like Parallels desktop is needed to run a couple of windows only programs and games. The battery life is great, good speakers, charges with my iPhone charger, it’s not heavy, has not crashed, good screen, nice aluminum body, etc etc.

Very good laptop !! I will get more MacBooks for my kids!

I needed a new laptop to upgrade from my 2014 MacBook pro. Hands down the best computer I’ve ever had and after 7 years of school and personal use it was starting to give me battery issues. But that was it, other than that I’m sure I could’ve gotten more years out of it but figured it was time to upgrade. This MacBook Air with the M1 processor is fast and sleek. I love how the space gray finish looks and I know I’ll get another 8 years out of this laptop. There’s a reason why these are priced higher than the others out there and that’s because you get a reliable device. The setup was smooth and the Ventura os is clean. I also bought the Microsoft office suite not M365 (I don’t need to pay the subscription IMO, I’m sure there’s value for others, just not for me). Excel and PowerPoint were the main two I needed and it was easy downloading those in and I got a discount when I bought it with the laptop purchase with Best Buy. Also the battery life is long - I’ve only charged it once and it’s lasted 4 days with roughly an hour use a day. If you are on the fence of buying this take my advice and do it. I bought this one over the M2 versions mainly because I didn’t want to spend more money if I didn’t have to and plus for what I needed it for I know the M1 is plenty.

Great device ,fast and easy to work on vey light and take no space

I had been using the same HP laptop for years but knew I had to upgrade once I started my photography business. Being an Apple fanatic with iPad and iPhone, I knew I wanted a Mac. WHAT A DIFFERENCE, I can't tell if it's my photog. skills or the MacBook visuals are just insane, but this display offers incredible clear images. Plus the unmatched convenience of owning Apple devices and all being in sync.. superb.
