Updating from a MacBook Pro 2009, this MacBook Air was just what I wanted and more. The apple silicon is blazing fast. Battery life with the apple silicon is also amazing. I do a lot work on my laptop, but I don't use very demanding apps so I stuck with the base 8gb ram and 256gb ssd.

Sleek and stylish, this laptop is great. Plus its very affordable. I love how vibrant the screen is. The device is very thin and easy to hold. When you are using it for a long time the system does not get hot at all on the bottom. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a seriously power laptop in a compact size.

I have had this model since January 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about it! I was initially apprehensive about purchasing due to the price tag, but I had heard so many people speak highly of it, so I took the chance and was pleasantly surprised! I bought it with the purpose of using it for school, so I knew it would be used heavily, and I had concerns about getting a laptop that would actually last me, at least, the duration of my program. In the past, generally, laptops have lasted me MAYBE 2 years maximum, so I am pleased to say it is now January 2024, and it works like a charm even with heavy daily use (writing papers/assignments, taking notes, participating in online classes, downloading and reading textbooks, recording presentations, as well as personal use). I completed my ADN, nursing residency, and almost the entirety of my BSN program thus far with this computer; it's my ride-or-die at this point!

This has been the first Mac I have ever purchased. With having all other Apple products in my house, it is nice how seamless it is transferring data between. I have no connectivity issues or issues with slowness. I have been able to use this for school, work + for fun. only downside - the camera is not the best, but still clear

This 2020 MacBook Air has been a life saver for college , it has extremely well battery life and is cheap enough to do everything you need for school. Portability is a 10/10 and Functionality is also a 10/10. All around it’s a great Laptop in terms of specs and portability as well as the great price.

As always a great apple product, fast, light, great display and images. What more can you say it’s apple.

Amazing purchase. Great quality, and speed. Basically does everything the other laptops do at a lower price. Very satisfied with the display and how vibrant it is! My favorite feature is the fact that I can easily log in and fill in any information in websites using my fingerprint :)

This is my first Mac product and I love it. It syncs to my other apple products, it works so well, and I’m happy to know I can reach out to Best Buy if I need help transferring items from one computer to this one or just any general questions. Love the size-makes it easy to take it with me when I go to meetings and appointments.

Apple's M1 chips are blazing fast, no need to even upgrade to their M2 or M3 just yet. Works great for my developer workflow and got up and running in minutes.

Macbook Air M1 works great. Love the long battery life and M1 chip is very fast. I feel it is faster than my macbook pro that has 32gb memory so very impressive. Was on the fence about the 8gb ram but it is very fast so it does feel like the apple vs android phone that even with "lower" specs it is more efficient. This is for my son at school and is an upgrade to the chromebook he was using. Will be getting another one for my daughter. I feel confident this will last them a long time.

If you are into mac then it's perfect if you are a Windows person you will still appreciate the screen, speakers, build and overall feel. The keyboard is just okay and the lack of ports is a joke! The webcam is poor too. Overall though for the student pricing I got, it was a great deal for all the positives mentioned but I don't like relying on a dock for a USB A connection and having a large restriction on Windows-based apps that I use in Parallels because of the M1 chip. But if you are all Apple all the time and in that ecosystem then you are going to love this! Just sign up for student deals and wait for the sale price. Also, the M1X machines are coming but don't wait for the chip bump wait for the chassis changes with more ports if anything.

The new M1 processor is fast. The battery life is good. Multiple monitors are not supported (only 1 external monitor unless you buy an adaptor). Some products like VMWare Fusion don't support Windows VMs yet but Parallels does. I like this product but I really dislike BestBuy's new rewards program. I bought this product on my credit card and it doesn't qualify for rewards (read the fine print). So you might want to buy this product from Apple instead of BestBuy.

Best MacBook Air ever!! Fast, reliable, gorgeous. Opening apps take just half a second. No slowdown whatsoever

This is the first mac I have ever bought and it has exceeded my expectations. It has all day battery life advertised and I can say that is a 100% true. On top of the great battery life, there's not much this great computer cant do. From casual browsing to various other more intense activities like video editing and photoshop. Do keep in mind you can always get one with better specs if you need to anything particularly that requires that.

Everything that's been said about the M1 chip is true -- replaced an Intel Core i5 3.6 GHz machine with 16 GB of RAM with this unit, and in every respect it's faster, more responsive, easier to use, etc. The keyboard is best in class and approaches best in history status. The screen is gorgeous. Battery life is outstanding, it lasts me all day long even when editing photos in Lightroom. Tremendous product, even at the lowest-end configuration.

Get a MacBook. From a frequent user of PCs, if you need a great starter computer and you want one that will last and with amazing battery life, get this one. Don’t bother with the m2 chip models, I prefer the M1.
