Great computer, awesome de M1 chip. Much better than other brands

This is a good laptop. It is easy to use and I enjoy how fast I can navigate from one app to another.

I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mac. This MacBook is swift. The battery life is excellent.

After comparing several new MacBook Pro and Air models as well as iPad Pro, I was looking to upgrade my older MacBook Air and wasn’t certain which one would be the best option for all of my amateur photography needs. Aside from price point, this new Air model had the best value with minimal difference in performance from the Pro. The clarity and color quality is excellent and very easy on the eyes after staring for long periods of time. The battery life has been a great improvement as well. Very pleased so far.

I owned a MacBook Air since 2014 and I thought it was time for an upgrade and this is a night and day difference. I hope this will last just as long as my last!

The Macbook Air with the M1 chip is a fast, light machine. Most people don't really need the Pro. For those that don't, I think this is perfect.

Perfect size/weight for carrying around campus. The M1 chip is noticeably faster.

For a product a few years old, it runs so well. My only sligjt downside is a lack of a cooling fan, but honestly, it doesnt get too hot. The battery is fantastic, and I can leave it for days without remembering to plug it in! I always told myself I’d never buy an apple computer, but here I am— happy and ready for the next one.

Great for lightweight school work. The M1 chip may require workarounds for some familiar applications. Vendors of the most popular applications have released or working on native versions. Rosetta 2 (installs automatically by MacOS when needed) allows running non-native applications, but it's not perfect. The MacBook Air may not have the horsepowers for some heavy developers or designers. In which case, the new M1 Pro and M1 Max machines might be a better choice. However, these laptops have the same architectural constraints of an M1-based MacBook Air.

Awesome laptop. I bought it to my wife. She loves it. the Macbook air is very light. The only thing that I dont like is the fact that there is no USB port.

I went through a deep search for a new laptop. I had an hp. I’ve always wanted a MacBook but wouldn’t spend the money. But let me tell you this laptop changed my perspective. It is a beautiful laptop and the set up is amazing. It’s fast and reliable. So if you’re worried about getting your moneys worth, you will. I’m so glad I finally took the leap of faith and bought one. Will never go back to other laptops, MacBook for life!

Super fast and smooth compare to intel based cpu. Great battery.

I typically own at least one backup computer to my primary Macbook Pro. This one has lasted nearly 18 months and has been without problems thus far, though I could generally recommend no one in 2024 buy a laptop with anything less than 16 gigabytes of memory, no matter one's use case.

Works quickly and easily. As a senior it was user friendly.
