Got this base model M1 Air for my wife. I bought the M1 Pro with 16 GB of memory for myself. I absolutely love my machine and does my wife for hers. I am much more demanding on mine vs. hers yet I can't really tell the difference in performance. I have a fan in mine, while she does not. Have had mine for several weeks now and can't remember ever hearing the fan turn on. Mine can get just a tad warm on my lap while editing photos with multiple apps, but never uncomfortable. My wife has never complained about heat with hers. Neither machine has had problems running apps and they are both very fast. In short, the M1 Air is an awesome machine.

Nothing beats a MacBook! Super easy to use and works quick and easy. I love that I can’t air drop and screenshot everything I need and all of my other devices connect to it. Super sleek.

Coming from an old windows device, I was really not sure to jump on the mac bandwagon. Glad, I did. The computer build quality is great, and there are hardly any complaints about the macbook air itself, apart from the lack of ports. The batter life on this thing is amazing and USB C charging is an added advantage.

former windows/chromebook user. this is my first macbook ever. best buy was running sale, and i took advanatage of this and picked this model up. screen is beautiful, keyboard is very responsive, and i like how all my text messages/emails sync across this, my iphone and my ipad. battery life is excellent, compared to my old windows laptop. the build quality is excellent, and the laptop feels solid and designed to last. i mainly use it for web browsing, email, online surfing and ocasionally games like the sims. I like the screen mirroring feature, to mirror my laptop to my tv through my roku stick. many windows based apps are supported (google chrome etc). it does, however take some getting used to, as things are open/closed and done a little differently than windows or chrome based devices. however, after a few weeks i was able to get the hang of it pretty well. if your still unsure, there are many online guides and books that cover the os. once you master your way around it won't feel as overwhelming. i have had this laptop since january (6 months) and i hope to get many years out of it. thanks best buy!

I like my mack book. Its a bummer for not having touch screen but you will get use to it.i use to have lenovo, but always had battery issue.new Mac is very usefully for me specially for school

This is really a work of art. For someone like me who is new to Mac, I thoroughly enjoy working on the macbook air. It is light, excellent display. Does the job as expected and advertised. I am an apple fan mainly because I have been using apple products throughout and they havent failed me anytime.

Great laptop. Love the way that Apple integrates macOS with iOS to allow AirDrop between iPhone and Macbook, and to use Messages and Facetime. Solid build quality. Good keyboard with function keys on the base model. Great screen. Enjoyable to take it all around and work or watch videos. Excellent battery life.

Wouldn’t trade it for the world I love this computer

Very thin computer but very efficient especially for school and college very helpful. Would recommend to almost everyone helps make your life more organized. :)

I love my MacBook….It is very fast at pulling up information which is much better than my old laptop…very easy to pack with traveling because it is so thin….love the option of the colors I was able to choice from….it is something my whole family is able enjoy because it is so easy to use…enjoy!!!

When you're buying an Apple product you know that it carries a premium price. Having said that, this machine is a great upgrade from the previous models. 1. Sell your old intel device before it depreciates any further. 2. The M1 process is FAST. 3. The battery life is amazing. If you're already in the Apple ecosystem, don't wait.

Overall, its a great little laptop. It’s the perfect size for travel, the graphics and speed are terrific. The only shortcoming I could complain about is the battery. It uses the battery quickly so I make sure to keep the cord with it.

The 13” MacBook Air is a tremendous machine in a lightweight package. I am impressed with the screen picture and definition. The battery charges both quickly and holds for a generous number of hours.

This Mac was my first Mac I’ve ever had… though it took quite some time adjusting as it’s so different than the others but I did end up loving the convienence of having everything with my whole apple account on my laptop and phone. Almost immediately after purchasing, I ran into not enough storage though. I do photography and have to have the editing tools on it as well as I work from my computer so that’s been an issue. Lasted me 2.5 years…just slid off the couch and the remote followed and hit the screen and my computer is now history. It barely tapped the screen too. They make them this way just so things like this happen and we have to pay constantly to get things fixed or buy new it’s sad and very frustrating. It has been so lightly used as I only use it for a couple specific things… so disappointed

Great laptop at a great price. I needed it for school and it works great and is so lightweight I can bring it anywhere. The service in store was great also!

Though I have since sold both of my M1 Airs to upgrade to a 14" pro, they remain in my heart as the best machines I have ever owned. On-sale and with a student discount, I paid $650. The M1 has enough performance for 99% of people doing everyday work. Battery life averaged 18-20 hours.

The apple MacBook Air is excellent for school. Its battery lasts easily through a typical day of light use. The keyboard is very comfortable and it is very light and portable.

Bought for my wife, she loves it. Works great for her school work but also a great way to keep up with family with facetime. She loves the color too! It runs great, havent had any issues.
