Purchased this for my daughter in high school and so far it's been satisfactory as far as performance. It has the m1 because dang these things are expensive. I wanted at least an m2 but I would've had to shell out about $1200 but I do understand that these are among the finest laptops so we went with the most affordable. Overall she's content with this device so hopefully next time around we can upgrade.

Very fast and easy navigation through applications. Only issues I've run into are some programs (my cameras wireless import) are not yet compatible with the new apple software.

Best MacBook you can buy for the money while it’s on sale, $799 on the M1 model is an absolute steal, sure the M2 air may be a newer model with MagSafe, and a slightly better display with the M2 being a Liquid Retina display. however a measly 18% increase in power with the M2 chip shouldn’t be enough for you to spend the extra money. The $300 difference is enough to get the 512 GB model of the M1, or Totaltech (which gives you apple care), and any other accessories you’ll need if you really wanted to spend the extra money.

Been using this on a daily basis for almost a year. Works flawlessly. Apple is always quality. Not much else to say. Boots quick, does everything I need it to. It can get a little slow if overburdened, but I usually have 20+ internet tabs open, VPN on, word docs running, and Youtube, so for the price I'd say it's great value.

I bought this laptop for my kid for college. He wanted something light and easy to use. This little machine works great!

Love this laptop. It is fast, light weight and very slim. Very colorful and vibrant colors. Happy with this purchase. Only issue I have with laptop is that I don’t care for the touch pad. It’s very sensitive.

Purchased as a Christmas gift to replace a 2010 MacBook Pro. Crazy how technology gets that much better. It’s an Apple product that’s easy to use, nice to look at, and pleasing to touch/hold/type on.

After a customer-hostile experience at a local Apple store, we went to BestBuy to purchase a new Apple Macbook Air M1 computer, and have data transferred over from a dead Macbook Pro. To date, the new Macbook is performing great, as expected. The in-store experience at BestBuy was five stars, compared to -1,000 stars for the Apple store. At BestBuy, we walked into the store without an appointment, talked directly with a human being, and set up our transaction in 30 minutes, vs DAYS of frustration with Apple stores.

Never owned a Mac book before, but got one for school. Super easy to use. Ran perfect and got the job done.

I have always wanted a MacBook and this addition to the Apple ecosystem is truly amazing. Battery life is amazing, speed is amazing and everything is smooth like butter. Definitely worth every cent on sale or not.

The MacBook Air works as it should and is very fast for any of the things I do, which is writing and browsing the web. I successfully installed some software on it like Gimp photo editing, and didn't have any problems.

My wife really wanted a new computer and we have had Windows computers our whole life. So why switch? Well we have iphones and tablets so it made sense for ease of compatibility to have a macbook. While pricey as we all know, I will say it is very user friendly. It did take us a little used to the new OS, but once you understand it it becomes second nature, and like I said is much more stable and easier to use then windows (which I still use everyday for work). If you are integrated into the Apple eco-system and need a laptop as well, great option.
