I recently got my hands on the MacBook Air 13 M1, and let me tell you, it's a total game-changer! The M1 chip is a beast – everything's crazy fast, from video editing to juggling a dozen apps at once. No fan noise, and it stays cool even when I'm pushing it hard. The Retina display is stunning, with vivid colors and True Tone making everything look gorgeous. Plus, it's so darn lightweight and slim that I carry it everywhere without even noticing. The battery life is no joke – all-day power for my non-stop hustle. The Magic Keyboard is comfy, and Touch ID adds a cool security touch. Seriously, if you want a laptop that's as powerful as it is portable, the MacBook Air 13 M1 is the real deal. Highly recommend!

    My first Apple computer

This base-model MacBook Air is really a great machine. I am not an Apple person, and the last Apple device I have owned was a 2009 Ipod Shuffle. I've been using Windows for the better part of the last 30 years and this is my first Mac OS computer, but getting used to the OS differences thus far hasn't been that big of a deal. For general tasks, my Air seems as fast and sometimes faster than my heavy Windows gaming laptop with an54 watt 8-core Ryzen 4800H chip and it runs Chrome better than my Chromebook (m3 Pixelbook Go that I will now give to my mother). I really like the aspect ratio of the display and the trackpad is the best that I've used. I prefer the keyboard on my work Lenovo X1 carbon and I think I even prefer the Pixelbook Go's keyboard to the Air's, or at least I still type faster on those machines, but the AIr's is still very good. I do occasionally miss having a touch screen - generally for scrolling webpages, using calculator apps - but no big deal. More ports, or at least having one on each side, would be nice but hasn't proven terribly limiting in my use-case. Battery life is phenomenal. No regrets here and very glad Apple is shaking things up with the new silicon.

This is such an amazing little laptop. I am coming from Windows 10 which is perfectly fine for desktop/laptop use but this latest update from Apple is hands down the biggest leap in computing I've seen. The battery life is beyond outstanding and is the most I have ever seen on a laptop. No fans and no heat when doing heavy tasks unlike my old Windows laptop which sounds like a jet taking off. User experience is amazing for a beginner to Mac OS (like me) and I have had no issues getting everything set up. The speed of this little laptop is by far better than anything I've ever used. No long loading times, no sluggish performance, instant on, etc. I'm not very tech savy in the Apple ecosystem but I can say that this little piece of hardware is an absolute game changer.

This is the first apple laptop i've ever purchased (owned other apple products) an i must say it's pretty impressive. It came with a great security protection plan that covered the application for 6 months so that's a plus. The color i wanted was easy to get my hands on. The laptop its self is very slim an not heavy whats so ever! An the best thing i'd have to say is it makes no noise while in use for a long time (no otter fan) . The downfall to me was that is doesn't have the usb port option that alot of other computers do but not really a huge deal considering this laptop does have endless apps to do things. It also keeps it's charge for a long time which is great for my schooling that i do online. I'm just your average computer person nothing super fancy that i'm using it for so I'd def give it 5 stars

I am Super impressed with my new MacBook Air Laptop. I got the Rose Gold model and it is beautiful, slim, light weight and is ultra fast. its the first Mac I've owned although I have two iPads and have owned iPhones since the beginning. I haven't found anything negative at all. some people complain about no light up Apple logo which is hilarious. the only other gripe I've read is that there are only 2 ports, both high speed C USB so no mag charge port, you can purchase USB Multiport adapter if you have legacy equipment for reasonable prices, I found the perfect multiport through Apple store. If your a heavy duty gamer it could be better to purchase the new M2 MacBook Air but I haven't found any problems playing the latest games, smooth and flowing. comes with all you need for office, school or fun at home Buy yourself one.

It's Apple... what can I say. I absolutely love this laptop. I was hesitant at first because of the $999 price tag but it's worth every penny. Granted this is my first MacBook Air, I can't compare it to previous models (non M1 chips). But I can tell you it's super responsive and fast. The battery lasts all day which is excellent because since the screen and sound are very nice, I like to stream movies to it. It's surprisingly light considering the sturdy all aluminum build. The trackpad to a little bit to get used to but is very intuitive and I couldn't go back to a normal one now if I tried. I really love that because this doesn't have a fan, it's literally noiseless. and even without a fan, I've never felt any overwhelming heat on my lap while using it, even while streaming.

If you want to experience significant upgrades in an apple computer, then the MacBook Air with the M1 chip is definitely the one to buy. It's one of the fastest and most cost-efficient choices for a computer where technology has come together to create a tremendous change in experience for laptop computer users. Between Apple's proprietary M1 chip that is fanless, solid state hard drive, retina screen display and upgraded sound system, an incredibly extended battery life before the need to recharge and much more, the new apple technology literally constitutes the wave of the future. The overall performance enhancements clearly put you in the driver's seat and establish considerable measurable distance from the previous evolution of computing in general. Literally every detail has been given attention to improvements with the end-user constantly in mind. Speed of processing is near instantaneous and regardless of software program complexity, the MacBook Air M1 simply sets it all in motion at blistering speeds. While some complain that apple products are costly, the advantages of becoming part of the apple technology environment makes it worth every penny. The seamlessness between apple products is yet again another favorable feature and whether for business or pleasure, you'll find yourself able to be completely connected throughout your array of apple devices. They've literally captured the market in our opinion because their focus upon technology and consumer needs is unparalleled by the competition. It's very safe to say that switching to the apple family of products means never having to look back because the company is constantly taking its consumers forward at an ever faster pace. You should also be on the lookout for the new M2 processing chip and related products that will be driven by it, many of which are projected to be out sometime this year. Very frankly, the experience of using our apple products on a daily basis is one that we look forward to with the complete confidence that we're interfacing with the technology around us using the best possible assets. Throughout our entire experience with apple products since 2011, we've never once encountered problems. Not once, and it represents a shining example of quality control, attention to detail and the constant look well forward into what consumers need most in technology and reliability. So, thank you! You guys are awesome!

Bought this as an additional to my MBP16, which is an excellent powerhouse laptop but heavy and cumbersome to carry around if you need to do Photoshop on the go. This Air M1 is super light and the battery is fantastic. Having no fan makes it quiet if you want to do a call or 2 as the MBP16 has fans and can get loud. At no point did I feel the laptop get sluggish. I even ran WoW SL on it to try the M1 chip and was astonished it can pull 60FPS at lvl 5 but not a native resolution, i had it near 1080p which is much better than the MX350 which I've also tried on (though that was the 10w version). outpaces the Vegas. I guess the only gripes I have is the bezels could be a bit thinner esp in 2020 and 8GB is ok, maybe a couple of more usb-c ports would help but then again it's an Air, not a Pro

This is my first Macbook purchase and my first time using Apple OS as my primary operating system. I do have an iMac but I hardy ever used as I primarily used a laptop. The price of a Mac has always been a primary reason why I never got one. After years of using PC laptops I decided to take the plunge and go with the Mac. I am not disappointed. The battery life on this is amazing. Even with doing video calls and watching movies it still keeps going. None of my PCs could ever to that. The only con is that it has only two USB-C ports and no SD card slot, it does have a headphone jack) I had to buy an adapter that gave my three USB ports, and HDMI port and a slot for a SD card. I knew that going in as my son bought the same macbook a few months earlier. I've had it for about three weeks and I can't say that I have had no issues with software compatibility or operation. Really love the light weight, lighted keyboard and size.
