We bought this for my Mother and my Aunt. They aren't very computer savvy and we all agreed an apple laptop would be better for their needs and easier for them to use and navigate over windows. Once we got them set up, its been a pleasant and comfy experience. The M1 chip is very powerful and it stays pretty quiet most of the time. They are very happy with their purchase.

If you are wanting a Mac Book, but don't want to spend a small fortune, this is a great MacBook! It has all the features of connecting to apple products, text from the lap top, easy hotspot connection, fast running. It's great! I travel a lot and really enjoy having a reliable computer with me.

I was hesitant at first due to new technology. However I decided to go all in on the base model and I am extremely happy I did. The machine wakes up super fast and does not heat up as much as my previous apple MacBook Pro with intel chip. This m1 chip is a winner it does not get as hot as the intel chip and the battery life is off the chart. I look forward to putting t through its paces. Joe

Such an amazing computer. I went to America just to get this MacBook so I could improve my workflow and that was definitely the best decision I've ever made. If you're looking for a computer that will handle music production, video editing, any other daily tasks like opening up tons of tabs at the same time, or managing 2 Logic Pro projects at the same time - that is definitely the machine for you. Oh, and the battery... I've never EVER seen a laptop with such good battery life. Jesus, it's impressive. I wish I could've had enough money to buy the 512GB SSD version tho, but a 256GB + Samsung SSD T7 Shield is definitely enough for me at the time. Notice I've paid only 749 dollar NEW on Best Buy during Black Friday.

I upgraded from a 2012 Mac laptop, and let me tell you. This laptop is a game changer, it’s not slow, battery life is great! Addition this powerful machine is so light, so no worries about snap, crackle and pop on the back, leave that problem to the cereal.

I absolutely love this laptop! Definitely the best I've ever had. I've always been a MacBook user, owning a MacBook Air (i3, 2014) and MacBook Pro (i3, 2017)... as you can see I love upgrading! I had to get my hands on the M1 Processor and I am not disappointed. The battery life and smoothness it provides is unmatched at this price point. I purchased this on January 29th, using it mainly for audio processing, video editing, writing, and some normal browsing but I feel like I've only had to charge it twice! Insane. Speaking of the processing power, I've always gone for the base processors in my prior MacBooks because of the price. That said, I've always noticed lagging with certain software and apps that need the power to export & upload videos, audio, create graphics, etc. With the M1 being the new standard at every price point, it made my decision much easier. It definitely closes the performance gap between the Air and Pro models, while increasing it between the newer and older models in a very good way. Lastly, I feel like the big criticism for any new MacBook that's been released in the last 4 years is the change to USB type C. Not for me! My learning curve for USB-C was with my old Pro, but once I started acquiring the necessary gear I quickly found it's not only more reliable, but more powerful. Pretty soon, that will be the way with all new tech and it will (rightfully) become the standard.

This was a graduation present fo my daughter starting college. She absolutely loves it. The purchase itself was fast and easy. The Macbook runs verybwell. It has great speed, easy to work and convenient to store. I would definitely purchase it again.

What’s there to say, it’s a Mac. :) we actually have both the M1 and i5 models from 2020, and this one was for my wife, while I use the i5 for boot camp. She definitely has the better battery life (about an hour more than mine) and general performance thanks to Apple silicon, which of course is the only difference between the two. Speed, thunderbolt and battery are all top-notch!

I love my MacBook Air! It’s the perfect size, weight isn’t too heavy, the screen is so beautiful, and it’s fast. Needed an upgrade to my ancient iMac. Been using iPhones for web browsing for the past few years but it’s come to the point where I needed an actual laptop computer for zoom meetings and kids homework. I’m so glad I bought it!

I've been using this laptop for about 11 months now. It has not let me down once with performance, battery, and its simplicity. I've used this laptop for my personal and work use and everything runs smoothly with it staying on low heat. Battery life is consumed slowly, even with a few working apps open. I do recommend it if you are a light computer user.

I am brand new to the Mac world...this little machine is just amazing! It is fast, responsive, easy to use, light to carry around. It seems so far to have a good battery life. I love the bluetooth connectivity, so I can connect to bluetooth mouse and my Bluetooth head phones and away I go. so glad I made the switch, don't see myself going back to PC world

Ordinarily, I am a Windows guy, partly because I am a self-employed accountant and therefore a heavy user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. While Office products are available for MacOS, objectively they don't hold a candle to Office on Windows, period. I am also not a big fan of MacOS, partly because I am more comfortable in Windows. All that being said, Apple's already excellent hardware is taken to an entirely new level with the M1 processor. Apple really knocked it out of the park. The combination of performance, heat management, battery life, screen quality and brightness are incredible. You simply cannot get a fanless Windows 10 laptop that performs like this at any price - and this is less than $1,000! The next time you hear someone say all Macs or Apple products are overpriced, point them to this.

The Macbook Air is very dependable. Its the laptop you dont notice when using because everything works. The M1 chip is great and the ram included is more than enough. Of course the build quality is great. The best compliment I could give any computer is you dont notice it when you are using it. It stays cool. Its quiet. Its fast.

Really fast, no noise, beautiful display and excellent battery life

The M1 chip still holds up for almost all my college tasks. It's been a month since I owned it and I've had no problems with this product. The packaging was top-notch and BestBuy delivered it within a day of purchase. Go get it if you're looking for a back-to-school laptop that is value for money!

I am SO happy with my purchase. This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned. I love the weight and slimness of it, not to mention the beautiful rose gold color. My service was great (as it has always been with Beat Buy) and it was a 5-star experience! If you’re looking for a laptop, this is the way to go!

My small Mac is perfection, is quick, powerful, the display is outstanding, I use this laptop for watching Netflix and complete some of homework. The battery life is also outstanding. I love this little machine, is perfect for me.
