    It’s Apple, so it’s high quality. 90% of the functionality I need is accomplished with my relatively high end HP chromebook, which I love and which is substantially cheaper, but the Macbook is of course better integrated with the apple ecosystem I enjoy and allows me to do that final 10%.

    …I picked up this computer today. It looks fine, but the problem is that the one-year warranty promised on the website is missing. When I asked the worker to look into this, he told me to go to Apple and deal with them. This is after I bought the MacBook from BestBuy. After getting home late in the evening, I contacted BestBuy’s online service center, and they told me the warranty exists. However, in reality, there is no warranty. This is an open box computer, not refurbished, and its battery health is 95%… How is this possible??? They are cheating. I’ve been with BestBuy for 10 years, and this situation is very disappointing.

    Typical apple product that is fantastic. However, the length from the base of the mac to the keyboard is too much. It's difficult to type without grazing the track pad. The only way to do it is to lift your wrists up which becomes uncomfortable after a while. I recently had to type a 3 hours essay for the bar exam and by the end of it my wrists were shaking lol. I'm 6'2" with large hands. This shouldn't have been such a problem.
