Smelly transaction

However, the smell when I opened the box was pretty nasty. Took it back and BB associates agree and exchanged the item. I Should have opened it at the store. It also smelled when I opened it at home. After some research, I found out that the smell apparently comes from the charger cord. Took her back to the store and they agreed it seem to be coming from the charger cord. They gave me A charger cord off the shelf and it didn’t smell any better. Called Apple and they were pretty much useless. They said it was a third-party purchase and out of their hands. Anyway I ended up buying a charger cord on eBay.
