Good quality construction for a laptop . Battery life is good a little different operation from a windows laptop. No touch screen sucks for the price point. I’m sure it would compete with iPad so they don’t do that. Price I pay for being an Apple sheep

My son suddenly needed a new computer for college. We’ve always been an Apple family, but sometimes the cost can be prohibitive. Not this time! Our son is thrilled with this computer and says it’s the best laptop he’s had. It’s quick, easy to use, interfaces well with his other Apple products and absolutely loves the battery lif!

This is a great device for what I (a college student) use it for. The M1 chip is still great, and the computer hasn't crashed on me in my few months of owning this, and the battery life is good as well! Would highly recommend it as an entry-level MacBook! (And watch out for the sale when this item is $750!)

This is my first Apple MacBook Air and it was a little challenging to adjust how the layout works. The ‘others’ it’s truly a plug and play, here I had to work at working it out. With that being said it IS a much lighter laptop, the color is per say a goldish-mauve dip, the color was different. I purchased additional products which was easy to install. Best thing ever, as having a Apple phone and work phone I didn’t loose any work space, personal or professionally, I didn’t slip a beat. The thin and light weight makes much easier for travel and not a backpack back breaker. I know there’s an M2; however, I wanted to try out the M1 to see if I enjoy the feel of the product and I do. Honestly, the 4 stars as it was a little time consuming to get started from box to work.

First time Macbook buyer. I'm halfway through school and work full time and have been using a Surface Pro 6. It's been fine but I recently setup a new home office and the lack of a USB-c port for peripherals and additional screens was frustrating. That and the battery life starting to tank made me reevaluate whether I wanted to stay with Windows. I decided to get a MacBook and have not been disappointed. Battery lasts me basically all day. Very little learning curve going from Windows to Mac. Satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this mac book for my son on his way to college. I got the warranty, THANK GOD I DID! Best Buy honored my warranty. I was able to take my sons broken mac book to the apple store & they honored my warranty from Best Buy. They replaced it with a whole new one for only a fee of $99. I buy all my electronics from Best Buy with a warranty.

I was told that this Mac Book Air with the M1 chip was similar to the 2018 MacBook Pro Interl I5; however, I had to exchange it after a few hours of usage. The Air is mainly designed for very simple web searching and emails. Although, I do not do any photo or video editing, I do surf the web and have multiple tabs open, I like switching to emails, attachments and listen to music. When you do all these things the computer slows down, which is considerably noticeable. Switching to the MacBook Pro M1 was a totally different experience. The computer runs buttery smooth, the keyboard is amazing, the camera is top notch, but I am overall impressed with the performance. It was totally worth spending the extra money to upgrade. However, if you are going to do simple web searches and emails, the Air is good enough, but would not recommend as a work laptop or if you are a person that has many programs open. The 8GH memory is just not enough, you need 16GH that the Pro offers in order to have a smooth experience.
