MacBook Air, Great Battery Life, but Limitations

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've generally been very happy with my MacBook, the battery life has been excellent and is compatible with all of my desktop Mac applications. I have however found the last of SDD space to be constraining (if I had to purchase agin I would select a model with more storage). Also, the only interfaces are 2 USB port, so you may find yourself with a number of adaptors to carry around.

Don't fix it if it works...

Dislike lack of USB ports, no Word, Excel, or Power Point. Some functions have also changed, not an improvement in my opinion.

Love my mac

I am a first time mac user and this laptop has changed my life at work and school.. I got so used to the ease of use (less commands) than is hard to get back to the old microsoft laptop..it is true it does not get any viruses or mallware… and apple customer service is one of the best!

Nice for moderate use

I like the consistency of Mac as everything looks and functions almost the same whereas Windows based computers are always changing something. I am not a hardcore computer user, just e-mail, and social media so I can't describe any of those features. The only thing that I have been trying to work out is that my old computer had a standard USB port on the side and this one uses a USB type C. I am having trouble getting my printer to work as well but It is possible I am doing something wrong. One thing to note about the mouse pad is that you cannot just double tap to open an app you have to actually press down on the pad and hear a click. You can still move your curser freely about on the pad though to navigate your screen with just one finger. It is nothing worth getting picky about so I think this a great computer.

Great little machine especially when on sale

Thought about getting the M2 chip but didn't like the notch plus the M1 was $200 to start plus an additional $150 off on sale and I had credits o my card that kept the cost very reasonable. This one is very fast and a great improvement over my old one.

Best bang for your buck for Macs

We have completely switched away from Android and Microsoft for running a small business, and everything syncs and runs flawlessly on Apple. The Macbook Air M1s are super quick and powerful laptops and are the best bang for your buck for an all around work/entertainment laptop with plenty of capability to spare.
