I am so glad I compared the two before buying because it does everything the Pro does and more. Loving this latest model!

Love my Apple Laptop.

Did take a little getting used to since this is my first Apple laptop but I do have an IPhone so that helped me out. Love the fact that I can sync my iPhone, iPad, and laptop together.
