I absolutely love this laptop! I have used apple iPhones for years which made learning to use this laptop easy as can be. Being able to text people back, answer calls and use the fingerprint scanner to put in passwords has really saved me so much time and hassle. I highly recommend this laptop for someone that uses computers daily and for someone that only uses them every so often. The price may scare some because it did me but I finally took the leap and bought it and I don't regret it one bit!

If you like macs, this one is a good balance of power and value (value being relative to Apple prices). Fast, easy to use and provides lots of apps for creative endeavors.

this computer can't handle more than one browser open at a time without the responsiveness being impaired. I get a "this webpage is using significant amount of energy. Closing it may improve the responsiveness of the Mac." ...and I'm not even using large capacity webpages- I'm a college student and I'm using Canvas, or Quizlet. Before I bought this computer, I spoke with a Best Buy representative and told them that I need a computer that can run my apps without issue, as my last computer (a 2010 Mac) crashed when I was using one photoshop app. He said the 8GB of ram on an M1 Chip should be enough to process everything smoothly...and its not. This crappy MacBook is only good if you don't use it! maybe opening a small word document, or just occasional shopping, but not a good computer if you have a legitimate need for a computer.

I have been wrestling for awhile about spending the money to get a new MacBook. Well, I’m glad I did! This MacBook works very well and I was able to get it in rose gold!

The item is new the only difference is it wasn’t wrapped in a plastic bag to look brand new . But the inside it’s the same thing, open box or closed box their all the same
