I have several other Macs, but I honestly think this model offers all the power and features I need. I wish the solid state memory were cheaper, but I supplemented the on-board storage with a 1 terabyte Toshiba SSD, and that combination works pretty well.

Perfect for school work

The specs are perfect for light work like school assignments/ casual graphics/ PowerPoint stuff. I do a lot of video editing and animation and not sure that I would recommend this for graphics heavy work. So if you are looking for something that can handle heavy animations and edits, I would consider upgrading to a higher RAM and a better laptop but it’s great for the day to day/ average user stuff.
