New to Apple laptop

I set it up by myself and I’m using it daily for my online therapy practice. The camera and speakers are high quality and I’m very pleased.

Solid laptop, great value for a Mac

Solid buy for routine web browser work, and even some light video editing in iMovie.

I had one for several years that ran very well. It was the same 2020 model (somehow the screen went bad- even though there was no known injury) however, I just purchased this new one in May 2023 and it is terrible... It get soooooooooo hot ... literally just searching the web. It gets hot and then slows down. I have barely used it so I didnt notice it fast enough because my return window closed on June 2nd! Very disapointing and frustrating as these computers are not cheap and I thought I was purchasing high quality......
