This is our 4th Mac. It's the best of the lot. We have a 2015 MacBook Pro which has been a fine computer. It's a 15 inch. this one has have the ram but the M1 processor is faster than the Intel I7 processor in the older computer. The keyboard works well and you can have several programs going with just 8 GB of ram. 13 inches is smaller than the 15 but its sufficient. For traveling and long battery life, or for a college kid this computer is just awesome . I recommend getting the 512 GB SSD.

My first MacBook! Aside from the head pains associated with learning a new operating culture, after MANY years of building, fixing and using PCs, this is an amazing machine! I love the extreme battery life, excellent picture quality and speed of access; always and so easy. I regret that the built-in camera is such low quality, but that can be worked around. Love the USB-C connection!

Using it right now. Great size. Very useful for school. Functioning very well. Runs smooth and fast. This was a great investment for me.

This laptop is a great. The battery life is fantastic thanks to the new M1 chip. The power is up there for the tasks I need, which are coding, web surfing, video editing, and messaging. One of the most surprising aspects is the trackpad. I was caught off guard on how intuitive using the gestures is to manipulate the windows. That is not specific to this model but just something I thought I throw out there. Now, I don't game on this laptop nor have I attempted to so I do not have anything to say about that aspect.

This Computer is beyond amazing! Very fast processor! Perfect for my small business! I highly recommend this laptop.

I looked for MacBook for watching video and web browsing. This one is perfect for me, it’s silent (fannles) and very fast for my tasks. Battery holding about 10-11 hours and body is cold every time

Beat laptop I've ever owned and maybe best computer. It's amazing and it runs perfectly I use it for Photoshop and games. It does not get that hot when running high graphics games and Photoshop does not even make it hot at all. It's small and thin and it's powerfull and the MacBook air does not have a fan and it still runs amazingly well. 5 stars best laptop for the price point got the 500 gb version so I bit more money but worth it so all in all its perfect for my needs.

Easy to setup and transfer files over from the old Mac. It’s fast and light weight perfect for travel or on the move.

I wasn't a mac person until I got this laptop. They finally fixed the keyboard to make it useful (I don't know how people live without escape buttons or with that ridiculous touch bar) the battery life is insane. Although the monitor isn't the biggest, I've still used this to edit videos in final cut pro for youtube and i'm always amazed at how fast it renders. When the next model comes out with the bigger screen and no touchbar I'll be the proud owner of 2 macs :)

I love it! I have been a Mac user since 1984 when our family got our first Macintosh computer, the Macintosh 128K. This MacBook Air does its ancestors proud. It is fast. It's keyboard is ergonomically comfortable. I love the Touch ID capability and the ability to use the Function keys for actions like sound volume and screen brightness and more. And I have occasion to use it not plugged in and the battery seems to last forever. And it's in Gold. Beautiful! What's not to love?

Just amazing! The Apple M1 chip is awesome turned on the computer and it was ready instantly! Battery life is over 18 hours! The thing doesn’t produce any heat! Faster boot than my iPhone! The touchpad is great one two or three fingers all have different effects on what options are available. I’ve been a PC builder for thirty years and was skeptical about switching to the MacBook Air or Mac OS I’ve been relearning a lot of shortcuts and gestures that control the system.

It’s fast easy to use. The battery lasts a long time. Navigation is way more seamless

So, great little laptop. BOught it for my wife and am kind of jealous. We are using for virtual dance classes and other fitness type applications. Every fast. Very light. Good battery. Two USB ports is a pain. Needs more. I bought an inexpensive dock to use with it. Gave me lots of problems. Did some searching on the inter tubes and this is a Mac Air problem. Ponies up and bought a better one and it is good. You will need a dock most likely, so don’t go cheap.

This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned. It’s faster than my 3 year old MacBook Pro at half the price. To note, if you’re using Android Studio, it still doesn’t work with Apple Silicone. Sure it will compile, but it takes about 1-2 minutes, even on emulators, and every keystroke takes about a second due to lag. IMO, Android Studio is currently unusable with Apple Silicone.
