I was skeptical at first to buy a Mac, at first, because I was told that they were difficult to operate for those without technology experience. However, I found the opposite to be true. Maybe my experience with Apple products has given me an advantage. I have had an iPhone since they first came out. The Mac is very much like my iPhone. I recommend the Mac Air to anyone with limted technology experience, but knows how to operate an iPhone.

Who needs PRO

For perspective, I purchased the brand new M1 Pro 14” MacBook Pro at launch. It was a BEAUTIFUL machine, and I loved it. But the more I thought about it, it was way more than I needed. I ultimately returned it and picked up the M1 Air. Similar power and function, minus a few bells and whistles. Those bells and whistles, to me, we’re not worth the extra $1,000. Do yourself a favor, and pick this thing up!

Don't even consider the pro, get this. It's insane how fast and efficient it is. EXTREMELY long battery life.

Good computer but not good to connect USB.

The only negative comment is that you need to buy an adapter to connect any other things. The computer has only the charger hole. I'm having problem connecting the keyboard, mouse and printer (I connect all using USB cables). It's a real shame. On that subject, Apple is getting worse every day.

Great new Mac

Coming from a four-year-old MacBook, I guess anything would be faster but this has the chip optimized for the Mac, not Intel-based computers.

Worth it! This is the Laptop to Go With!

Purchased as a personal computer (work laptop is a MacBook Pro). Super fast and responsive - even more so than Pro models that come with Intel processors. The M1 chip makes this a really powerful machine - even compared with M1 chip MacBook Pros I would recommended the Air - save the money and go with this model as the difference is negligible and won’t be noticed! Highly, highly recommend!
