The best laptop!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the perfect size laptop for school or anything else really. It’s very easy to navigate and adjust to if you’re use to Microsoft computers. You can still download Microsoft word and PowerPoint if you need to use them. Only down fall is it only pretty much just has the power cord port and a head phone port, so you have to buy an adapter to connect a USB or HDMI to the laptop. This is already an expensive laptop so it a little annoying that you have to buy another piece. It is really fast though and has tons of memory. I love the fingerprint touch to unlock the computer and to log in to certain things, it’s very convenient. The battery normally lasts me 3 days before I have to charge it again and it charges back up really fast. The keyboard is very comfortable and this laptop is overall much worth the price!

Best decision I’ve ever made
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would recommend this computer to everyone. Easy to use and was a game changer. I’m not very good with computers especially when going back to college and completing my studies online only. The MacBook Air was great in staying charged for so long without turning off. Great for multiple opened widows. I used this computer as a personal assistant was great for planning and much more list goes on.

love my mac book air
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love it. The sizing is perfect. Nice, light, and thin. Cary Best Buy on Crossroads is the BEST. I went from Durham because the Durham store was very unhelpful with my order and kept canceling it for whatever reason. I was in and out of Carys Best Buy and got deals. Very nice and informative with helping me pick the best mac for me!

Slim, quiet, fast and luxurious laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love.. Love .. Love. This laptop is everything you would want in a portable, luxury and sturdy machine. The M1 professor is the fastest professor I have a ever had in a laptop. I have always had windows pc like the Lenovo yoga series but this MacBook Air is a must if you want to bust your productivity. I always wanted to have a mac and this is the best way you can enter in the apple ecosystem.

best option for the non-tech over 50 crowd
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a terrific lap top for me. It meets my needs and it is easy to use. I'm not always the best with tech, and usually need lots of help from my son, but over the last 18months, I can manage all my computer needs with this device.

So happy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my wife, this is her review: I am so happy with my purchase. Lightweight and the gold is so chic! I don’t use it for anything extravagant, but it is super user friendly and I love that it pops up with little tips and tricks to help me learn how to use it.

Good computer.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been happy with this computer overall but I wish it had more storage capacity. Otherwise it functions very quickly, updating it quicker than before and the fingerprint ID for unlocking is very useful and convenient. I have really appreciated how lightweight and easy to use all of the features are. I wish it had more ports, etc, but with additional hubs added it is quite functional.

Awesome Portable Power Horse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop to use on the go. I currently use a custom hackintosh for when I am working in the office. I needed something that runs MacOS and ultra portable. Right now it checks all the boxes. Speed, performance and stability. Best Buy needs to carry the 16gb model of the laptop. Most customer will get by with only 8gb but 16gb should be an option that offer as well. One negative thing I can say about the laptop is the screen quality. I think they the resolution and brightness could really use some improvement. Especially compared to the iPad Pro display. Battery life is AMAZING. I have not charged the MacBook Air in days. Yes, days. And I still have 31% connected to a 27 in 4k monitor via usb-c to display port. Considering I got this laptop for $999 out the door. Great value.

Currently the best Apple “daily driver” laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for the price. This computer replaced a newer, high end MacBook Pro 16” model. Truth be told, I think the M1 processor is just as fast as that much more expensive model and it’s certainly lighter and easier to use as an everyday laptop, even if the screen is smaller. Unless you are a true power user, which the average computer user is not, you don’t need the expense, weight, and faster processors of a MacBook Pro model from my experience owning more than I care to admit number of MacBook Pro’s over the years. This is currently the best all around laptop value Apple makes.. it’s light, fast, now has larger storage options, and has a great screen and sound for its size.

Quality Apple Product and Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first MacBook purchase, but not my first Apple product. When looking for a new laptop I was planning to stick with Windows, however, I have an iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and other miscellaneous Apple products, so why not switch to Apple. I have quite enjoyed this laptop. The screen is crisp and with minimal bezel. The touchpad is responsive, and I have gotten use to to having to fully click it in order to press on something. The keyboard's keys have enough travel that it does not make it uncomfortable nor cramp my fingers and can feel super satisfying. It is also nice to have a backlit keyboard, although for the price, the laptop should have a nice backlit keyboard. The computer can handle having multiple tabs open well without draining the battery or becoming overheated. Also, it handles light gaming; although with The Sims 4, with multiple expansions, the computer got hot soon and caused some worry (although there was minimal lag and problems). Battery life is also nice; I use the laptop mostly for video streaming, research, writing and light gaming, and I feel like I have to charge it maybe three times a week. Quite awesome. The laptop is also quite simple to use after you throw out everything you know about Windows computers. There are only a couple things in which bothered me. First is how to turn the backlit keyboard on, and adjust the brightness. I'm someone who likes to explore computer systems, but for some reason it took me a while to figure out where to find it. Maybe I am being picky, but I would have liked physical keys located on the keyboard rather than have to go through multiple steps on the screen. The second was the price point. Do not get me wrong, I know you pay for quality and this laptop feels like and performs like quality. However, for some higher end Windows computers at the same price point, you can get so much MORE: more ram, more memory, better processing speeds, better speakers... etc. Again, you are paying for a solid machine, with a strong name behind it, with quite a large ecosystem (closed but large, nonetheless), but I guess quality, battery life and longevity can over come the price point. Overall, I have enjoyed using this laptop and would get another Apple laptop in the future when necessary. Do I recommend? Yes, to someone who wants a quality laptop with a fabulous battery life to use for streaming, web surfing and word documents. The laptop is not for someone who wants to use it for gaming. (I do not do photo or video editing, so I can not speak that use.) Plus the laptop is beautiful, especially in Gold.

Awesome MacBook Air - especially fingerprint login
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this MacBook Air!. One of the best features is the fingerprint (password) to get into the system. Fast! Long battery life. Love the rose color. Lightweight and portable. The downside...the usb is "C" so my USB printer won't connect to it. None of my other USB items will either.

Never buy anything but Mac again
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will never buy another windows os again. Fast, light, powerful and beautiful. Apple never lets me down. I love ios and how easy it is to use. The M1 chip is amazing. That’s why I never mind paying a premium price for any Apple product. Not because I like paying for the name but because you get what you pay for with Apple. A great well designed product.

Great bargain, especially in 2023
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great MacBook, the M1 chip is a good bargain and I am able to use it for software development work without much issue. If you travel a lot, this is a good item, I've accidentally dropped it several times but the casing is built solidly enough to where there is almost no damage.

You can stop. Your (favorite) computer is found!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whether you are very mobile and like to get things done wherever you happen to be, or you just don't want to be rooted to a desktop machine in that one corner of the house. In any case, this is an awesome laptop. Quiet, with outstanding battery life! Sure, I could've (sort of) saved $$ on the Mac Mini, or perhaps gotten a boost in performance from the MacBook Pro, for more $$. But I thought about my particular use case scenario and what I needed out of a computer. I chose battery life, portability, and quiet; fan-less operation. A very stable and very reliable computer. I am happy with the purchase: Not just the laptop, or the qualities of this new MacBook Air, but also the M1 chip. The M1 makes it all possible and takes this line of MacBooks into the next stage of Apple's developments. It's already awesome, and it's going to get even better over time and with future iterations.
