Blown Away
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really outstanding performance for the price. I recent "downgraded" to the new M1 Air from a 2016 MacBook Pro and honestly, this thing blows that old Intel model out of the water. The keyboard is a great typing experience, it's much lighter than I was expecting, and it never runs hot on me. Amazing screen resolution, crazy fast, and I only have to charge it once every couple of days with moderate/heavy usage.

Worth it!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this MacBook Air for over 2 years now and it is still in perfect condition! I love love love my MacBook Air. It does not heat up like my old MacBook Pro did and the keys are very ASMR-y to type with. The one thing I don't like about the Air compared to Pro is that the keys do NOT light up. I guess I did not read the description when I bought it lol but that's honestly the only downside besides that there isn't a USB port or disk insert. Just charger ports and a headphone jack! I still would recommend this product tenfold just because I use it every day and it still works like as if it was brand new.

One of the best laptops ever made.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Without question, this is one of the best laptops ever made. It has an amazing feel, super-fast, visually stunning, no fan, and even though I've had a bunch of programs open the laptop does not get hot. BigSur is exceptional as well. Safari is unbelievably fast and fun to use. And I do appreciate the focus on privacy and security. Great job Apple!

My daughter's new Mac & Geek Squader, Max!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter's new Macbook Air is just what she needed for her home recording studio. It's silent, generates much less heat, and is soooo much faster than her 2016 Intel Mac. We hooked up her new laptop to a Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station, an Audient iD14 audio interface, and a 416 Sennheiser mic. Everything was compatible with the M1 chip - exactly what my daughter needed. NO MORE FAN kicking on in the middle of a voice-over track! AND, a huge THANKYOU to Geek Squad staff member, Max, who went above and beyond. Max loaded everything we needed onto my daughter's laptop and answered a ton of questions. What a knowledgeable, patient, and kind-hearted guy. Thanks! from a happy Dad

Best computer I’ve purchased
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As with most Apple products they performed seamlessly with my other Apple products and very easy to use. Great size and amazing battery life. Best part is it doesn’t over heat even using on my lap and zero fan sound!

Best laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best laptop I have ever owned. It is so compact and lightweight and it sips battery power. You will not have to plug it in until the end of the day with normal usage. There’s no fan inside so it’s literally silent. It does get warm but it will not overheat. Also Apple doesn’t give you more RAM or GPU power than you need, however this laptop is not suited for power users. But for those who only do basic computer functions like email/Facebook/YouTube videos like me, it is perfect.

Silent and Cool
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve updated to this laptop from the previous intel MacBook Air. My biggest issues with the previous version were the heat and battery life. This M1 MacBook Air is excellent in those areas. It may not be a flashy new design, but it is tried and true. Honestly, if Apple had introduced a new chip and a new laptop design, I would have waited. I imagine that I’m using this laptop as most people will: checking email, browsing the web, synching apple photos and notes, and running a few basic applications. In this regard, this is the laptop to have. It does all of these perfectly with battery lasting very very long. I have installed a few applications that run under Rosetta 2, but apart from the pop up asking me to install Rosetta 2, everything works as planned. Some iOS apps install, if the developers want them to, and the few that I’ve installed work OK. Obviously if an iOS app relies on touch somethings will be quirky at best (keyboard shortcuts and trackpad options to reproduce the touch screen experience). For these reasons, this will be the laptop I will recommend to anyone. Unless you need to run specific apps for Windows, this is the laptop users with average computing needs should have.

MacBook - perfection and silence
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned my HP Laptop and upgraded. Should have gotten this from the start. Powerful processor. Great speed. Super light. Modern and sleek oh and fanless. So no whirring. None. And doesn’t get hot yet. 2 weeks in. I love my apple products but this MacBook Air takes the cake. Buy it if you are on the fence.

Love it...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I was tired of going through laptops every other year. So far the battery life and speed make it top notch. I actually like the 13 inch screen better than I anticipated. It does get warm when used on lap, so beware of where you are using it. Overheating causes it to slow down.

Fast, excellent battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So for - I have enjoyed owning MacBooks since 2011. This one replace a 2019 16" i7 6 core. This M1 is faster and the battery life is amazing! Never gets hot or even warm. Work all day and don't need to charge it.

Overall really happy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A week into owning a Mac and I’m actually really happy with it. Always have been a windows person so it was a big adjustment at first but overall really happy. Great for college classes since it has 18hrs battery life, airdrop, super light, makes no sound, and generates no heat. Can’t give it a full 5 stars because of the difficulty I had getting two monitors to connect to it.

Actually pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This macbook is very nice to use. I primarily use it to program Rust with vs code and I use my ipad as a second screen. I did a quick speed test against my 5950X and in single thread tasks, it is a bit quicker. I did manage to lag it out once. I had a youtube running while installing xcode and running a python program in the background. Overall I would say this is a great laptop! It doesn't get hot like my old razer.

Perfection
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.M1 MacBook Air is a killer! The best laptop hands down. It’s fast and reliable. I’m able to do all of my nursing assignments (virtual labs), have multiple tabs open, and the MacBook Air does not slow down or heats up!

Apple MacBook Air M1 Chip - Very NICE
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New Apple MacBook Air with M1 Chip. 8GM Memory and 512GB SSD. This Mac is so much faster than my old MacBook Air. It blows away my new Windows with similar spec's minus the M1 of course. Never hangs up. Never gets hot and multitask are a breeze.

cooler, no literally I mean temperature.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Surprisingly, my favorite features are the fingerprint unlock and lack of fan. I didn't realize how loud my old laptop was until I saw how quiet this one is. Also doesn't heat up in your lap. Camera is not that great.

Not great for panini's, but good for other things
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told that these computers get hot. I was quite disappointed when I realized that they actually do not get very hot. Our panini cooker recently went down, so I ordered two of these Macle Books to make the sandwiches. All that happened was the mayo on the bread got warm, but did not cook the sandwiches like we were expecting and like what we are used to from our panini machine. After talking to a friend about this, they showed me a completely unintended use. The Macle Books come with something called a browser. On this "browser" there is a place called something hub. WOW. I had no idea the computer came with so many videos!! Even found some of my family. Incredible!!!

Use caution
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not great, camera graphics seem like they're from back in the 90s. Functions very well unless it heats up and it takes awhile for the black screen to go away. My daughter complains about it alot. Looks fabulous and movies are perfect!

regret buying from best buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not happy with my purchase from bestbuy, I just bought a MacBook Air and when I unboxed it I could tell something was different about the packaging, and it wasn't packaged like a MacBook when you go to the apple store and buy one(I have 5 other matchbooks bought from apple) and needed to purchase this 6th with a payment plan I thought best buy would be the best option, shortly after using the MacBook, There is problem's with the FaceTime calls, the calls will randomly fail and need me to sign back into my Apple ID over and over, The computer kept popping up error messages and hard restarting on its own, It was not a brand new MacBook I know that for a fact it had to be re-furbished. I went and exchanged it after having a geek squad member take a look into it and it still kept having issues. I had to wait for them to order me a new one, And when I got the new one it was packaged like an original MacBook! but still has the exact same issues if not worse! I have taken pictures of most times it has issues. It is mainly when the computer just heats up and shuts down on it own and deletes the forum I was using online causing delays in my work that infuriates me. These computers cost way too much money to act like this and this is unusable for the purposes I use it for. Im very upset because now I have to go through the hassle of going back to figure out what to do, I will make sure to leave a review on google as well, other people should beware of being charged full price for broken re-furbished computers.
