The best laptop!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the perfect size laptop for school or anything else really. It’s very easy to navigate and adjust to if you’re use to Microsoft computers. You can still download Microsoft word and PowerPoint if you need to use them. Only down fall is it only pretty much just has the power cord port and a head phone port, so you have to buy an adapter to connect a USB or HDMI to the laptop. This is already an expensive laptop so it a little annoying that you have to buy another piece. It is really fast though and has tons of memory. I love the fingerprint touch to unlock the computer and to log in to certain things, it’s very convenient. The battery normally lasts me 3 days before I have to charge it again and it charges back up really fast. The keyboard is very comfortable and this laptop is overall much worth the price!

Where are the ports???
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new MacBook Air works great but the fact that it only has two ports is disappointing. No USB port! Only two ports that accommodate the charger or accessories you con purchase to use USB, HDMI or other ports. I wish it had been pointed out to me.

Good computer.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been happy with this computer overall but I wish it had more storage capacity. Otherwise it functions very quickly, updating it quicker than before and the fingerprint ID for unlocking is very useful and convenient. I have really appreciated how lightweight and easy to use all of the features are. I wish it had more ports, etc, but with additional hubs added it is quite functional.

Awesome MacBook Air - especially fingerprint login
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this MacBook Air!. One of the best features is the fingerprint (password) to get into the system. Fast! Long battery life. Love the rose color. Lightweight and portable. The downside...the usb is "C" so my USB printer won't connect to it. None of my other USB items will either.

Worth it!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this MacBook Air for over 2 years now and it is still in perfect condition! I love love love my MacBook Air. It does not heat up like my old MacBook Pro did and the keys are very ASMR-y to type with. The one thing I don't like about the Air compared to Pro is that the keys do NOT light up. I guess I did not read the description when I bought it lol but that's honestly the only downside besides that there isn't a USB port or disk insert. Just charger ports and a headphone jack! I still would recommend this product tenfold just because I use it every day and it still works like as if it was brand new.

Great for Traveling
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MacBook Air is light weight, compact and perfect for traveling. I could no longer upgrade the system on my old Air, so it was time to replace it. I got my first Air because it was a small laptop with a flash drive, which isn't as likely to have problems from traveling with me on my motorcycle. This new MacBook Air 13.3" is larger, which has its good and bad points, but the quality of the monitor is astounding and the M1 chip is fast! I am not thrilled with the lack of a USB 3.0 port. Printers, thumb drives, peripherals of all types all still use USB 3.0, not USB C, so you have to buy and carry an adapter. I'm also not thrilled with the power plug not being a magnetic connection. It would be so easy to accidentally break off the plug, which I understood was the reason they went to magnets on laptops. Despite these complaints, I am quite happy with this laptop.

A great little computer
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast computer. Light weight. Beautiful display. Rather delicate. I recommend adding a screen saver to avoid a cracked screen. Could use more ports to avoid having to add dongles to attach external drives, printers, etc.

MacBook Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This MacBook Air replaced an older MacBook Pro. It is fast, lightweight, and has great battery life. Very straightforward to set up and use. I wish it had more ports like the old MacBook Pro has, but reducing the number of ports is the direction all laptops are going. Just bought a hub to plug in that will take care of the lack of ports.

1st MacBook Air Experience
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is sturdy, has been reliable for years, and it's still going. Wish it had some USB ports but there are work-arounds. I feel like the battery life could be better but I also keep an exorbitant amount of tabs opened at a time so...there's that lol. Would recommend for casual lifestyle purposes as that's been my experience with it.

Exceptional Apple Macbook
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is definitively the best MacBook Air yet. The best has become even better with the M1 chip. This small footprint computer blazes at a lightning-fast speed is incredibly capable and doesn't get hot at all. Ports leave something to be desired, but you knew that already. The point is, this runs laps around PC's laptops that are double the price. If you plan on keeping a computer for the next 5yrs without much worry, this is your best option. Incredible battery life and display, the list goes on.

Form Factor, Weight, Speed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family has had many MacBooks over this year and this replaces a 2015 MacBook Pro which my son uses now. This MacBook Air ticks all the boxes for me in terms of form factor, weight and performance. Best Buy was offering a great deal on the 8 core, 8GB/512GB model and for my use case this was a much better value than opting for the new MacBook Air - I also like the old wedge shape. I do miss the variety of ports available on my old MacBook Pro, but that ship has sailed and there are relatively inexpensive options to rectify that.

M1 chip is amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put - this thing is a beast! Got for my wife for basic computer use (email, browsing web, typing, etc) and for those uses it is an amazing laptop! Super light, very quiet and battery lasts for a really long time. Great for travel and use around the house. The lack of 4 USB ports isn't a concern. Overall, the M1 chip makes this thing shine. I actually can't wait to upgrade my iMac with one that uses an Apple M chip in the future!!

Impressed.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this to be better than expected. Extremely lightweight, easy to carry around. When you open it boots up automatically reasonable size screen without being too large. Battery life lasts all day for sure. It has only two ports so that seems like a limitation. Quick transfer of data to external drives. The only really limitations is the Mac operating system that explains itself in detail and labels everything, but despite that you can’t understand what the implications of what you choose would actually be and you have to make a choice.

Nice but they left something out.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this Apple air. I upgraded from a 2014 model. This has much better color, speed and memory. I wish Apple would have kept at least 1 USB port or had at least 3 of the new ports. Get ready to buy cords to still use your existing external components.

Good upgrade. Wish it had USB port.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big improvement on the keyboard, and the retina screen is really good. I've learned to like the fingerprint password feature. Easy to travel with. I do not like not having a usb port and having to use an adapter. That's a big inconvenience. M1 chip is faster than my last MacBook Air. I got space gray and it doesn't hide scratches and smudges as well as silver. Had the laptop for nearly six months and no problems.

Great Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this Macbook for a few months now for work and personal use and I love it. It's snappy, the speakers are great, it's super quiet with the passive cooling, it's light and fits well in a small bag. Best laptop keyboard and trackpad I have ever used. I can even edit photos in lightroom on my couch now. The lack of ports is kind of annoying, but I love the usb c charging.

Airs Above
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to my previous Mac Air, this new model is a trim, compact beauty with increased speed, battery life, and storage. The only downside is that I had to get an adapter for USB port, which I need for outside devices (like earphones and external hard drive) and video connections.

Nice little laptop
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, great little laptop. BOught it for my wife and am kind of jealous. We are using for virtual dance classes and other fitness type applications. Every fast. Very light. Good battery. Two USB ports is a pain. Needs more. I bought an inexpensive dock to use with it. Gave me lots of problems. Did some searching on the inter tubes and this is a Mac Air problem. Ponies up and bought a better one and it is good. You will need a dock most likely, so don’t go cheap.

Awesome little unit.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple M1: Blazing speed for all the apps I use including photo processing. Silent and cool in use which differs from my past experience with older models. The limited # of usb and no SS card is a limitation forthcoming apple MacBooks will address. I use a dongle when I am using multiple I/o for example scanning photos to an external drive. Delivery from best buy was straightforward and easy. Props to them.
