Black Splotches on the Screen

After 22 months of use several hours per week, the screen developed black splotches and the power started cycling on and off. I probably got a bad early model. But repairs exceed the cost of a new TV, which will not be a Samsung.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a solid Mac user, but Macbook Pro with M1 chip purchased 1/21 continually drops my WiFi connection. I need to be within 6 feet of the Gateway in order to get Wifi. Once established, I can move to other room 15 feet away and work for a short time and again the WiFi is dropped by the mac. Other older Mac’s work great. Wifi provider speed is great. Shutting down this Mac is a challenge as shut down is continually interrupted by Alert Log in Window and I have got force quit programs I have used. When starting up the Mac, Webroot popping up on the screen. I need to wait for it to pop up before I can continue using the Mac. I have been in touch with a few Geek Squad techs and no one can solve the problem. I am wondering if it is Big Sur or the M1 chip? Really not happy with this mac.
