Very light weight easy to carryGreat color gold I have all Apple products Apple Watch Apple iPhone now a computer to go with it they all tied together which makes things very simple in addition to that I can still use my Microsoft office 365 on the computer

To start off this review on a short simple note, full disclosure, I brought this thing to it's knees and made it cry like a little baby, so I decided ultimately to upgrade the ram, but I am BEYOND PLEASED with how this unit performed. For a fuller review continue reading; This thing is a beast for what it is, better than a 2 year old full fat Desktop PC I made specifically to be compatible with the latest Versions of Mac OS (this laptop runs that thing in circles, and puts off practically zero heat, where as the Desktop makes the entire room hot, like sweaty hot). Parallels finally updated to run on these M1 Macs, so I got that and started messing around. Perfectly adequate for most Windows Exclusive things, trying to run GTA V worked but it was hardly an AMAZING experience, 30-45 fps (considering that is an x86_64 program running in an ARM based windows install, the fact it ran that well in an emulator within an emulator is actually amazing). I decided to twist the screws, and was running a cpu burner in parallels while watching 4k YouTube in safari on an external 4k Monitor, and running Messages, Mail, and the Background Processes that always run. I crippled it to just about a halt, took a couple minutes to get it to a point where I could end it's agony and restart it. Immediately on restart, it was just as snappy as ever (meaning it was the hardware utilization that made it crippled, not the heat itself). I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and YES, as you might have guessed, I am the demographic of people that hadn't bought an actual Mac since 2007 because my last iMac cooked itself to death in an AC'd house and managed to desolder the GPU from the logic board. I'm actually so satisfied with my purchase, counterintuitively enough that I sold this one to my brother for 600$ (he wants to get into hobbyist music production and hasn't had a computer in like 6 years) and ordered a 16gb version of this MacBook Air just so I can see how hard I can make that one cry. I'm glad Apple managed to overdeliver here.

This laptop is so fantastic. I’ve been wanting a powerful fan-less computer, and this does just that. For my normal use, the battery lasts 2-3 days. I haven’t really stressed it as much as those YouTube reviewers. I had it for sometime and now gave it to my daughter for her college and she loves it. I really want Apple computers to have touch screen, but they don’t do it because then there’s no need for iPads. If they do, they would make so many people so happy.

This is fastest MacBook Air on production. A bit of problem with the mouse pad which is sometimes unresponsive . Otherwise it’s a solid build machine with superior graphics and processing speed. Compared to my older A2309 this is super fast. I highly recommend.

Best Mac I’ve ever owned hands down. Just the right size. Talk about fast- charges just as fast. Love the fingerprint scanner.
