We've been slowly replacing our 2017 i5 Macbook Air's with M1 Macbook Airs. Nothing to complain about. I often shop for open-box units to keep the budget as low as possible. So far I've had great luck with Bestbuy open-box (in-store units for local pick-up). Stay away from 3rd part refurbished units.

Fast, love the speed and capabilities, design and ability to sync with my other devices.

very fast, nice display. quiet. I thought I might need a fan though to do more intense audio/video editing so I returned for a M1 macbook pro. In retrospect, it probably would have been fine and I should have spent the extra money on RAM than a MBP with 8GB. Maybe due to the angle, but typing felt more comfortable on this than it does on the MBP. Gold color is awful IMO, but to each their own.

honestly, this computer is kinda hard to use. I wish it has a better compatibility with non apple add ons. also, i really wish that it had a touchscreen. Its my fault for not looking at the details close enough when ordering. however, after getting used to all of that, its a really nice machine. battery life seems stable for now, and i love the finger print sensor. this is my first real computer. the only other one i’ve had was my Chromebook that i received from high school. so from a new apple user standpoint, definitely do your research into how to work it. anyways, once you get used to it, its pretty nice!

This was something I have wanted for a while now. It’s a beautiful laptop and I am thrilled with my purchase. It definitely has all the bells and whistles! The color, the clarity, the battery life are so much better than I ever imagined. I am so glad Apple continues to make their products better, smarter and affordable!

This is my third MacBook Air and I wouldn't buy any other computer. It is easy to us and the file transfer from my very old MacBook to this new one went well. Compared to some other brands the price is a bit on the high side, but well worth it. My old MacBooks were excellent computers, had very long (for computers) lives and I expect this new one to be the same.

Sleek design. Great processing speed in a compact format.

Start with the biggest complaint. Only 2 ports, both USB-C and one of them is used for the charger/power cord leaving only 1 port. I guess they assume everyone is going to use wireless peripherals. Problem is solved by purchasing a docking/expansion device (see my other review). Otherwise, computer is well built (my other MBA is from 2011 and still going strong with a new battery). Very fast. Still getting used to some of the changes from High Sierrra to Big Sur and iTunes to MUSIC.

So far I really love it! It’s so lightweight and easy to carry.
