Be Wary of the MacBook Air M1

Never a problem, that my was not self-inflicted like dropping it or cracking the display. The MacBook Air M1 has not been as good. After 1.5 years, the display had black horizontal lines across it, then it shutdown and wouldn't restart. 6 months past the 1 year warranty, cost $~450 to replace the guts of the machine. 2 months later the black horizontal lines came back, took it back to Apple still within the 90 day repair warranty and the display was replaced

Security tight “especially during transfers and syncing”. Apple products (I.e. notes) difficult to transfer “notes” for novice users.
