Love our new laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this MacBook Air because my other MacBook Pro was 10 years old. It’s amazing how quickly my new computer responds. It’s light in weight and so easy to use. It well worth the price. Additionally, the service we had at Best Buy was exceptional. Things were explained in a way a novice compute person like myself could understand. It was a great buy!

Happy wife, happy life.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife loved her little 12" MacBook, but that thing was so under powered it was a joke. She upgraded a few years later to a 13" MacBookPro but didn't love the added bulk. BUT She has been in love with her new M1 MacBookAir. Its so lite, so fast, and ZERO fan noise. Before she would watch a youtube video call and it sounded like an airplane taking off. This new laptop is everything she needs and more.

Nice upgrade, great performance
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice upgrade from the 2012 MacBook Pro I had.. such a difference in screen resolution, weight and performance. Still getting to grips with the functionality, nice to be able to load iOS and iPadOS apps from the App Store onto these M1 macs. 8gb is less memory than I would have liked but haven’t seen any noticeable difference so far. WiFi seems more zippy than my older model for sure.

Best all around laptop I’ve ever used.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Thus far this has been the best laptop I have ever owned. I got out of the Mac game after my first gen Touch Bar Mack book pro. That laptop was too expensive and just not really wonderful and the alternates at the time were awful. Seems like apple is back on track here. Build quality is amazing as always, keyboard and trackpad are industry leading for sure, screen is bright and vivid. The MBA preforms amazingly and never feels slow, I can even play Civ VI on medium settings pretty well while on battery. The M1 is amazing and preforms the same while on battery as it does plugged in, love that about it. Battery life is fantastic and lasts me days of light use easily. Speakers are also fantastic. I got apple care with it and I’d say that’s a must for new apple stuff. The 2022 MBA is surely better in every way except speakers (due to them being hidden in the chassis), but for the steep discount the previous gen is being sold at on BB ($1100 at the time of purchase for the 512 model) saving $400 made more sense. I’d buy this thing again in a heartbeat. Glad my vacation form apple is over.

Lightning fast, amazing battery life, easy to use, portable and lightweight, great at multi-tasking as I run my trivia and DJ business, but also great for my day job as a content creator. I would recommend this computer to anyone. Great for casual use, and working. I love it, and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

The Gold Standard of Notebooks.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not often do we see a huge upgrade in the notebook world. Over the past 6-8 years we've gotten used to the annual 10%-12% increase in last years tech. I admit, I was filled with skepticism like everyone else curious to dive into this generation of Apple silicon. To put it lightly, it destroys any Intel based Mac I've dealt with in the past. The level of integration is insane, Safari has become the best internet browser on the market. Apps that are optimized to run on MacBook are just like Safari, super fast. If you opt for the 16GB RAM version, you'll be hard pressed to find any negatives with this laptop. Battery life is unreal. I charge it usually once every 2-3 days depending on the work load for that week. Previously, I'd bring my power brick into work everyday expecting to at least plug in before the day is over. Not with this little guy, it stomps through all of my tasks without breaking a sweat. This MacBook alone is the reason I went and purchased an iPad Pro w/ M1 chip. Can't imagine how much room Apple has to move from here, considering this was a major leap ahead in terms of performance and fluidity. If you're on the fence of getting a new laptop for simple tasks like Microsoft Office, sending emails, saving & documenting files, this will more than make you happy.

M1 Chip is so fast!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new M1 chip is frickin' amazing! I used to have the Pro, but decided to get the Air this time around. My goodness, it is so lightweight and thin! Super easy to travel with and type on my lap. I should've gotten this the first time around! The gold color is so gorgeous. I paired it with a marble cover. <3

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first MacBook purchase and let me tell you it’s amazing! It’s fast and I love that I can hook my phone to it and check everything without using my phone. The design is beautiful, the rose gold really pops. It’s lightweight and perfect for everyday use. It doesn’t waste much battery. I can go with charging once a week.

Best all rounder & my best buddy
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best laptop for $1000. I bought the higher tier with 512 Gb SSD which is super fast and can be used as a ram swipe. It is super fast whatever it can do within its range and it can do many many things except gaming. The battery life is amazing. I am constantly getting more than 10 hours with my heavy workload (plenty of chrome tab, word, PowerPoint, R software. It is perfect for school and office work. It hardly gets hot or throttle. Build quality is literally fanstatic. In the cons I can say- 1. Screen is reflective even though there is coating and auto light sensitivity is very good still can't be used against the window. 2. Has only 2 thunderbolt port and both are in one side. Charging is a pain. 3. Bezel is old style and looks the same as previous models 4. Do not buy 8 gb version.. Buy the one with 16gb version

Nice Little Computer with Much Power and Potential
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razor thin and impressive looking. Only drawback is you need deft hands to open it; it is so solid. There is a little lip you need to lift in the front center. Long battery, Nice visuals. Excellent fast OS with ultra-quick boot-up. Was skeptical about small about of SSD HD but the philosophy is that everything is going cloud anyway.

Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it. I hadn’t owed a laptop in almost 10yrs, I have a desktop(Mac). I love all Apple products and have never had a problem with any of the products I own. It’s very light and easy to use. The unlocking with your fingertips is awesome:) battery last a great amount of hours...days for me because I don’t use every day. Quality of sound is also great.

Great general use laptop for travel
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the MBA M1 as a travel device in lieu of lugging my 16" MBP. I have been thoroughly impressed with it's size, weight and ability to perform. Adobe Photoshop runs great on the device for quick editing while traveling as well as normal browsing and apps. I have had zero complaints on getting the device. Well recommended.

Impressed.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this to be better than expected. Extremely lightweight, easy to carry around. When you open it boots up automatically reasonable size screen without being too large. Battery life lasts all day for sure. It has only two ports so that seems like a limitation. Quick transfer of data to external drives. The only really limitations is the Mac operating system that explains itself in detail and labels everything, but despite that you can’t understand what the implications of what you choose would actually be and you have to make a choice.

It’s so easy now to just puttend in the purse. Also, the new MacBook Air performs exquisite it’s amazing how fast it is even having a lot of windows open. MacBook Pro M1 chip.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This MacBook Pro is lightweight and powerful to get through any work you need to get done. Granted, I’m using it for sending emails, word doc and for work which requires me to have multiple tabs open at once. It keeps up and the battery last all day. Definitely recommend this model if you’re going to use it for office, school and some light photoshop.

M1 is Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had a Mac in the past but I switched over to a PC. It was time for me to get another Mac because I love the operating system and it just flows so easily with my phone as well. The color is beautiful and the speed of the computer is amazing as well. I was nervous to get the MacBook with the M1 Chip, but it’s been great thus far!

Pleasant Surprise
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first ever Mac, I've been an PC guy for years, and over 20 years running IT departments and for the longest was not an Apple "fan". However, the more I read about the M1 chipset in their new architecture the more I was intrigued. So for more of an experiments I picked up the MacBook Air and although really wanting the 16GB version decided to get the 8GB from Best Buy, because I didn't want to wait three weeks from Apple. I have to say, I am very impressed, the machine seems to cope with most tasks, in fact I have not managed to overtask it, yet. I do some video editing and plan of "trying" it on the MacBook Air very soon, but to date I have been very impressed to the point it has become my machine of choice, as it is light and has extremely good battery life. The biggest challenge for me as been navigating the Mac OS, which, to be fair has also impressed me... so all in all well worth the investment and I will certainly look at extending my Mac environment in the near future, I am not throwing out my PC's yet but I have certainly expanded my horizons.

My old laptop basically died on me and I knew I wanted to make the switch to a Mac for grad school, I just didn't know where to start. This is great on storage, speed and portability.
