I find it unbelievable that a refurbished product that was "Geek Squad Certified" came without a battery. We were initially told that such products vary and come as is. It was finally recognized by cust. svc. that a battery should have been included and we were provided a gift card to obtain a battery at a retail outlet. Best Buy cust. svc. was difficult to deal with, calls were put on hold for long periods and there was no call back from call disconnects. I am through with Best Buy online purchasing.

This refurbished MacBook is perfect! Looks new too

I got this computer as a gift for someone at a great price. It works great and I thought buying a refurbished one would be good, but it had some deep gashes. If I were buying for myself it would have kept it.

The flash memory makes this super speedy. Lightweight, robust, good looking too! Beautifully handles Office 2013 Pro. The fact that this is a refurb. makes it even better-- refurbs are individually tested, not randomly so. And the price can't be beat.

Overall I'm highly satisfied. would definitely recommend it. other than the box not coming with the guide for the computer, apple sticker, etc. I'm highly satisfied and couldn't ask for more. i will definitely be making more purchases on refurbished products.

My MacBook Air I got would not power up. The battery was completely discharged. This is shortening the life of the battery. All products with a built in battery come with some charge. iMovie, GB, iPhoto, Pages, Numbers, Keynote where all missing despite the included booklet showing all these apps as included. The only app I was able to download for free was iPhoto and GB. I called Geek Squad who according to the included information provides tach and warranty support. I was transferred from one rep to another in a circle. They did not solve the issue. Time wasted. Frustrated experience. It seems to be a Russian roulette with Geek Squad refurbished products.
