Excellent product, it’s hard to learn coming from windows but overall I’m happy. Great picture quality, I love the Touch Bar up top, and the m1 chip is so fast. Also 20+ hours of usage on one full charge. You couldn’t ask for more.

Fast, sleek, Touch Bar is dope, really loving it. Been a few years since I’ve had a MacBook Pro. Was using a MacBook Air and this is way better and so much smaller than the last pro I had. Def recommend.

First time user for Mac and it took a little to get used to but the finger print unlock was awesome. Never had a better laptop experience with available apps like typing lessons or learning a new language made easy.

I love my M1. I got a refurbished unit from Amazon for the savings. I was a little worried when it came, the box was a little beat up, it came in its factory box, but did not come with original charger. The charger they provided was brand new and works great. This MacBook is the fasted computer I have ever used, period. I dabble in music production and gaming. I have no complaints. The laptop was in perfect condition too, not a scratch on it. Check if the M1 works with any specific software you use prior to purchase, I had to wait for some that I use to work, no big deal, but if you use video editing software, or other processor heavy apps, double check. I don't know why people dislike the Touch Bar, I love it.

Great laptop and perfect for what I need it for! Easy setup! Great battery life! I would recommend carrying an external hard drive, so you don’t waste storage.

Let me put it this way. Imagine you got a new Ferrari with the price of Honda Civic, this is how good this Macbook Pro is. Apple's 5nm magic CPU is the very much key of the product. You must be fed up with ALL laptops' fan noise after a little bit of real work, right? This is the solution. This black magic created beast does NOT even warm up after 15 minutes of playing world of warcraft classic, no need to run the fan. Also the battery drop 1% after that. If you buy an intel based macbook right now, your laptop will become obsolete in 12-18 months, think about it. My only comment is that if you prefer 16G ram then have to go through Apple but 8G is more than enough for most, as it is more of a L3 cache than traditional ram, and intel CPU only has 64mb of L3 instead of m1's 8000mb equivalent.

I live apple computers and their products. This computer is far more then i would ever need in my life. However, i got the best, for the reasons of needing the power and capability so i could use it, or not need it.

This item was a spur-of-the-moment purchase because the computer I bought previously was constantly needing to be repaired. It has surpassed all expectations and I highly recommend it.

This was my first Mac since I had the PowerBook Titanium G4 towards the end of college in 2001 and first cut my teeth in the tech world administrating Xservs. Once Apple went away from Motorola processors, got Intel-based chips, and then generally marketed itself out as the pretentious Panera Bread of electronics, I took a break from the Apple world. Different story, not relevant. Fast forward to today. My wife has been rocking out her 2018 MacBook Air, and I've been just using work laptops at home for the past decade. I finally decided to stop using the government bloatware devices that the government mismanages, and used her MacBook Air. It was sleek and sporty alright, but my God: almost 20 years away from iOS and I was frustrated with it daily. ("Crap! Where do I find this again?!") However, it came back to me, and I started focusing on the design. The keyboard. The technology and all the gizmos. I finally said "I want my own laptop," and after contemplating too many choices with the not-so-great Win10 devices, this MacBook Pro w/the new M1 chip caught my eye. After having owned it for several weeks now, I am happy with the design, the comfortability and ease of use (hardware, peripherals, etc). The M1 chip shows great promise -- the battery life is exactly as advertised. So yes, I own and use a Mac now for computing. But never, ever shall I switch from my Samsung Galaxy line of smart phones! The only downside to this (and every Apple product) is the price point. To be truly competitive, Apple needs to focus on bringing in new customers (see: more competitive pricing) instead of keeping only the same pretentious individuals over and over.

I've been using this laptop for about over a month now, and it's the best laptop I've ever used! The battery life is amazing, it's really quick, and the interface is super simple to use.

I bought this laptop to use for content creation and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. It processes my voice recordings and videos almost as fast as my gaming PC but without the sound of 6 fans blowing in the background - exactly what I wanted! I use mostly Adobe products so I love how the touch bar has a layout specifically for programs like Photoshop and Premier Pro. I think the Touch Bar is underrated. It’s not needed but it certainly is convenient. I also love how seamlessly this device connects to my iPhone and iPad. I can even use my iPad as a second monitor wirelessly and there’s no noticeable lag or drop in quality, I’m actually very impressed because my old Galaxy Tab never interacted with my Galaxy Book like that without a performance drop.

The M1 Chip is truly a technologic marvel and the amount of performance that you get for the price is INSANE! I use it for music production and it handles my largest projects with ease (whereas my 2018 i5 Mac mini would struggle). It also runs extremely cool and I haven't even heard the fan turn on yet (which is unheard of). Unless you're a professional who needs to use 3rd party music plugins, I highly recommend upgrading to the M1 MacBook Pro.

Best purchase ever, i bought it just because i wanted it and it was more than what i could ask for. Hastn given me a problem yet and i've had it for years, the battery is awesome.

although i downgraded to the macbook air version because i initially wasnt a fan of the touch bar i can now say i regret it and the touch bar is definitely a nice addition.

This was purchased for my son to mainly do his school work on. It has a great battery life and is very portable. He carries it in his backpack with his books and has no problem. He loves the touch bar!

Absolutely loved this Mac. It’s compact, light weight, user friendly. It’s perfect for any use you need it for.

We ordered this laptop for our business after our 2013 MacBook Pro was stolen. We were a little hesitant about it only having two USB-C ports, but we went for it and bought the adaptors to use our regular USB devices (label printer and regular printer). What we didn't realize is that one of the two ports is also how you charge the computer! So if you are charging the computer you effectively only have one port. If you don't need ports or are using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections then this is a fabulous computer! It is fast and easy to use, and a nice upgrade from our old laptop.

Used almost every single day for the last few years with zero issues. I’ve owned another once since 2018 and again, I’ve experienced zero issues. No lag with recurring updates, which Apple is notorious for.

Fantastic and much needed purchase, I was in college when I purchased this product and it was a life saver, still have it to this day, works like new.
