Purchased this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. It does everything she needs it to and is powerful. She was iffy about the touch bar but ultimately decided she liked the feature because it gives her options for various controls depending on what program or app she is using. I expect this to last for years without issue.

My first computer ever was a macbook and I loved it until it couldn't process anymore. I tried using Dells and HPs after that because they were cheaper but they just didn't do what I wanted them to do and they only lasted me a couple of years compared to the 10 from my first macbook. Finally I bit the bullet and bought this MacBook Pro and it's the best decision I've made in a long time. The display is bright and crystal clear, the sound is unreal--it blew me away the first time I played music. And I know the touchbar is hated by some reviewers out there but I've really grown to love it. It suggests words when I'm writing emails, makes it easier to take screenshots, and I like sliding the volume bar. I also like how I can just airdrop my pictures from my iphone right to my computer. I take a lot of photos for work and I'd always have to email them to myself to get them on my non-Apple computers. My only critique is I wish the keyboard buttons were a little bit thicker. They feel so thin when typing. Also it's a bit of an adjustment going to just USB-C ports. Had to get some adapter things for the tech I already owned. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was holding out for the redesigned 14" that is rumored to release but was still curious to test the new M1 chips. I am happy that I sprung for this one. The battery life is great, last me days with my usage. The laptop is very snappy, if you are on the fence I say buy it. I am still waiting for the 14" but with this device there is no rush. Great buy

Best Laptop for evertyhing daily basis needed and working.

Amazing MacBook!! The MacBook with M1 is blazing fast, even the standard base model with no upgrades. This was a replacement from an iPad since needed more of a computer feel and software for my work. I now use sidecar with my iPad for additional display.I've run into ZERO issues with any software or applications not working with the M1 chip. I've heard of problems arising but I myself have not come across that at all.if you have any other Apple products and are looking into buying a computer but hesitating on a Mac, SERIOUSLY consider an Apple computer (whether it's an iMac, Mac mini, Pro or Air). The Apple ecosystem is what makes the slightly higher price tag SO worth it. All of your Apple products sync with one another seamlessly and everything you put on your iPhone can be accessed by your MacBook or iPad via iCloud (ecosystem), etc and vice versa, which makes keeping all of your things in "one place" so easy.

Great computer! Runs smoothly and quietly. The Touch Bar is really nice for guessing what I’m going to say when typing and for quickly changing the volume or brightness. The screen size is perfect as I can see everything clearly without being overwhelmed by a huge screen. It’s also very portable and light to carry around as needed.

Replacement for the old Mac Book, this works great for my daughter at college.

All the reviews I had read prior to purchasing this MacBook were absolutely right, it’s BLISTERING fast. Personally I could never imagine needing any more than this laptop provides power wise. I was cross-shopping this with the MacBook Air and ultimately I’m glad I picked the pro, the touch bar and better speakers are worth the extra money to me.

Very good pruchase, good Price for a new product nice experiense

I almost returned this the day I bought it -- I always buy Apple computers but run Windows/Parallels on them, and hadn't realized it would be an issue this time. I hadn't done any research, and didn't realize that the newest MacBook Pros have an M1 chip that can't run normal Windows or Parallels. So I thought the computer was completely useless to me, and was about to uninstall everything I'd just installed so as to return it. But I had already grown a bit fond of the shiny new laptop, it was fast with clear graphics. So I spent a bit of time looking around for solutions, and found that both Microsoft and Parallels currently offer development versions of their software for the M1 chip (free!). I gave them a try, and both are working very smoothly so far. A bit glitchy the first few days, but mostly smooth sailing at this point. (I have a bit of a problem with Safari on this computer -- not sure if it's the computer or that Safari gets upset when I also have the Windows side running -- but it tends to get hung up pretty often with a spinning wheel. Chrome seems fine.) Anyway, I love the computer at this point and I'm glad I kept it! Crystal clear graphics and very fast.
