She is a software engineer major, so at first I didn't understand why she wouldn't get a PC, but I didn't ask any questions. She says it's much better than the previous MacBook she had; it's get, multitasking seems to be going well and she still can use it for various media. Overall, good buy.

Only downside is that it only has USB-C ports, so I have to buy a separate adaptor to be able to use flash drives and other things. Other than that, simple to use and I love that Best Buy price matches other stores!

Only 1 external monitor allowed

If you are not trying to connect 2 monitors it works better than the previous models that had issues with the touchbars or ports
