This was the best thing that I could have gotten during my college career. It’s fast, efficient and light to carry around. Which is perfect for a college student.

Still adapting giving it some time the new bar seems to be a plus but still acclimating to functions

I had to g to air my MacBook to the apple store weeks after I bought it from here. It was rarely used and not dropped on my end but it stopped working. Because of the limited constrictions of the warranty at BesBuy I had to drive hours to the apple store to get it fixed and as a result missing days of work because I didn’t have a device to work off of. I will NEVER again buy a large appliance from BestBuy ever again.

This computer has had issues since the start. It randomly shuts off and goes black. I had a MacBook Air before this for 6 years that never gave me issues. I have had increasingly worse issues with this computer in the 1 year that I have had it. Very dissatisfied and will not be purchasing another product like this from Best Buy again.

The best MacBook to date. Wouldn’t get anything other than the M1 chip.

Somehow much slower than latest intel chip laptop. But sur os needs more tweaking. Maybe will be more reliable after tech growing pain.

*I got my new Mac Book Pro, 4 months ago and so far the sentiment is very POSITIVE (btw, this is my first Apple Laptop) *The mac book pro is incredible in terms of speed and slim look and weight and size. * I like to share about the display and texture it feels so good against the skin on my wrist as I type. *The most attractive part is the battery life of the laptop it’s last for 10 hours approx *I am madly in love with the silver colour. *The new keyboard, touch bar and large trackpad are mind-blowing - initially blew my mind and was so exciting to use every time. I used to use the touch bar to End Meeting / Mute / Turn On video during my Zoom meetings to look cool but later realized I was WFH and nobody would notice that :-P * There are so many options to customize the system to work just the way I want. To be honest, if you are new to the Mac world of things from the Windows Realm, then it is going to take some time for you to get used to the ‘Mac’ way of doing things. Pro Tip: Never try to keep the way of working the same from your Windows experience. Learn how to switch between Full screens and how effectively to use the Desktop and have multiple application extended to the full window (not full screen) + learn to use the trackpad (three-finger touch). After a month, you’ll become a PRO with the Mac way of doing things. *Let me vent out about the M1 chip. Ufffffffff. The one monitor constraint is a huge deal for me - I have to play with the one monitor restriction. I even thought at one point that I will return my Mac book and purchase a Windows machine but the performance sort of made up for it. I am going to take off a STAR for that reason. Overall a very good buy and an amazing experience. It is very handy to use and doesn’t heat up if you are not connecting an external monitor. So, will strongly recommend for Professional Use or if you have Heavy/Intensive Personal Use like Video Editing / Sound Editing :: DesiNTechie ::

Computer functions great but after some time the screen will eventually spontaneously crack on its own.

Purchased a “refurbished” MACBOOK (guarantee refurbished) and it came with a latent defect Best Buy wouldn’t repair and put it back on APPLE to reconcile. In the process it was determined the device wasn’t some for the FMV for what it was and hiked the price up 3x’s it’s FMV. They wouldn’t accept the product as a return.

Amazing laptop. Have had it for 4 years now. I am only buying a new one because my 2018 MacBook Pro is shutting off for no reason at times and my bf uses it for school. It’s time for me to upgrade so he can take this one. I use it daily. It’s hard for my classroom, small business, grad school, and more! I’m going to miss the touch screen feature on the keyboard. I love this MacBook!

This computer overheats and makes very loud noises from overuse but I only got it a month ago.

Best Apple book the sleek shape and beautiful color had me sold

Moving over from Windows 10. I have tried to make the leap several times over the last ten years. I kept finding myself drawn back to the Windows environment. Why? Win 10 had more flexibility in customizing the Desktop experience. Yes, I love the tiles of Windows 10. I always keep my device in Tablet mode. I also enjoyed the flow of Windows 10 better. So why now, have I been tempted? The widgets thing is superficial, yet worthy to get me to look at a MacBook. What really won me over? The ability to install and use my iPad apps on the MacBook! I have, like many others, invested in hundreds of dollars in iOS apps. The list of apps that transfer over is still short, yet enough of my daily drivers to make this worthwhile. Then there is the speed. HOLY COW! The M1 is their entry level? I have owned this MacBook Pro 256 gig for less than 24 hours! The battery life is incredible! So far, I actually like the touch bar. Who knew? Right? What do I miss? A touch screen. The keyboard and touch pad are similar to the experience I have had with my Surface Pro 7, little to now learning curve there. Definitely better than their disaster butterfly experiment. The dated design of the MacBook is somewhat a blah. For a non touch screen, what are these bezels for? Right? Yet, the feel of a quality build overshadows this. The speakers are the best I have experienced in a laptop. The Screen is spectacular. 4K screens can be a bit too much. AMOLED can produce some unnatural colors, tainting images and video. The MacBooks retina tech seems like a good balance. Better than 1080 HD, closer to 2K.

Here you wish a review this along with several thousand dollars worth of items were purchased illegally with my best buy credit card number and bank debit card with info obviously leaked from their data base I caught this early and tried to prevent but no one in the Best buy system seemed to interested to act on any info

I’m not satisfied with my purchase. I wish I didn’t miss the 2 week return window.
