Nice MacBook everything I wanted. Very economical

I love Apple products so I added this one to my collection. It was more of an impulse buy because my MacBook Air that I had for 7 years was starting to have slight issues. It was a little more expensive than what I would like but overall I’m satisfied with the purchase. The only thing I wish it had was a USB port so that’s one of the downsides.

This is my first ever Macbook and I absolutely adore it! Every day I wake up to use it, I feel so content and glad that I bought this computer. I know that sounds dramatic but it's just the truth.

Came quickly and like advertised “like new” I did have to wipe down with wet wipe for small smudges but other then that perfect.

Not only did my computer (certified MacBook Pro in excellent condition) have coffee stains all over it, the Best Buy team forgot to erase the previous owners data in search history. It had sensitive information that I could see, luckily I’m honest and I decided to take the time to wipe the computer myself which I should not have had to do. That did not work so I took the computer to Best Buy and explained to them what the deal was and they proceeded to tell me that they would not Sell a computer like that- then another lady said they simply forgot to inspect this one- they then refused to assist me in getting a replacement (they did not care) simple as that. Lost trust.

Great value for money. And with the discount, this laptop is indeed a fantastic option for teachers.

Battery life could be improved, and the touchpad on top of the keyboard once glitched on me where the suggestions and/or emojis would not appear so I had to restart the whole computer. Worked fine afterwards.

The overheating hasn't been fixed. Using it for zoom or even google maps causes wayyyy too much heat. It is too thin to displace the heat efficiently so I would recommend a chill pad to help with that. Also, the touch pad loses sensitivity after a few months. Pretty annoying to have to touch it two or three times to click on something. It wants to highlight everything when you try to move around on a website or maps before it actually recognizes you want to change the camera angle or scroll up and down or side to side. When you spend twice the price for half the performance, you would at least expect somewhat decent reliability. But bug after bug and annoyance after annoyance.
