Works perfectly for college! Fast, enough storage, and the touch bar is perfect!

It works great. The only issue I've experienced is that i forgot my password and was only able to reset it by going into an apple store which was very incontinent. Computer works great, battery last and it's light weight

I love it. Can't go wrong with an apple computer they work well for years. The new M1 processor is a beast, however I still find myself seeing the beach ball loading from time to time. I suppose that will get better overtime as things are properly ready for the M1. Love the touchbar and the keyboad. Design is just great. I know it's rumor the are redesigning the macbooks this year but this will do until then. Works great for my streaming set up.

Love my MacBook Pro with the M1 chip and Touch Bar. My older MacBook Pro slid off the counter and broke, so I had no choice to upgrade. I’m sad that this version does not have the usb ports like my old one so I took off a star. Apple needs to do better and add the ports back. I’ve seen they had added the magnetic chargers back on the newer models, as this model does not have it. All in all I do like this MacBook Pro, and it does everything I need it to do. The Touch Bar is a fun feature on this model, but I really do miss having the built in ports so I don’t have to worry about having to make sure I have my dongle adapter with me at all times!

We liked the model updated in early 2020, but its keyboard improvements aside, it was not a transformative edition. Amazing laptop for Nursing school fast and reliable and plenty of battery, would definitely recommend!!

I gave this a 4 stars because I don't think that the resolution is as good as the older models, and it only has two USB-C ports. It's otherwise fast and reliable. It also has great battery life.

Got this to replace an old MacBook. I love it, it's much faster, has double the storage, and a Touch Bar which I really enjoy!! I downloaded Sims 4 and have been playing recently and besides getting a little warm, it doesn't do too bad. Never slows, never freezes, doesn't shut down on me. I love it. Also great for school work/business.

fast, bright display, good wifi, unreal battery life. good keyboard. Downsized from a 15" Toshiba which was too loud and too noisy with the fan blowing, and too heavy. Although the screen is smaller on this it is big enough and display is much better quality. Best laptop I have had, except maybe the M1 Air that I returned to get this. Air was better value, but I'm happy with the Pro, and would recommend either one.

I love my Mac. The last one I had was 10 years old, and it was time for a new one. This one is so much faster and hold so much more than the last one. It’s much lighter too. The only thing about Macs, though, is that you need to buy extras( how Apple makes money), to attach hdmi and usb cables, and because of their slim design, they no longer have the cd/dvd slot. Another cable and external drive you need to buy. Also, the charging cord fits in a slot instead of the magnetized charging connection from old Macs, which I loved. I put up with the extra charges and connection differences to have the computer I’ve been used to. I tried an HP, which was great, except I couldn’t get used to it. I guess I’m an Apple gal. Oh yes, most importantly, all my other apple devices can communicate or sync with this, vs the HP.

My daughter uses this Mac book for college and said it is user friendly and light weight.

Personal computer/business computer works great keep my files protected and is very fast.

I was suspicious of the benefit of the Pro vs Air when considering which of the M1 laptops to purchase. I have a 2015 Pro that functions perfectly, but has a crack in the screen and unless docked to a monitor I couldn't see the entire screen. The 2015 Pro doesn't have the control bar. I purchased a new Mac mini for my desktop with the M1 chip and it is ridiculously better, particularly if you move up to Big Sur as the OS. I thought and thought about it and actually went to the store to purchase the air, until Nisha (the Best Buy customer service rep) showed me what the control bar can do. Sold. I am so glad that I made the purchase of the Pro. The control bar is incredibly helpful and easy to use. The M1 chip is a game changer. I don't do a lot of graphic design or complex computing, but the speed of the Pro is fantastic. The only kind of down side is that it only has two USB-C ports so you will need to purchase dongles to attach it to HDMI, USB, etc. USB-C is the way Apple seems to be moving, I have an iPad Pro that also has the USB-C. I always go to the Norwalk store unless it is for something they don't have in stock and I don't really need to speak to anyone about the product of ask questions. Nisha is amazing and always super helpful... and has convinced me to be ALOT of merchandise. The total tech/geek squad folks there are awesome and their in home set up has always been top notch. This MacBook Pro is my new best friend. Thanks Nisha for convincing me!
