The best computer I ever bought. I mean I have battery all day, no freeze or anything. Really happy with it

Wow, just wow. This thing is a beast. Initially I was worried the 8GB model wouldn't be enough for me since I do video editing, and some graphic work. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't matter. This computer cuts through video editing like nothing I've ever experienced. The process is so much smoother than I expected, and I am coming from a 14-core CPU, 32GB RAM, with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM dedicated GPU. I love this laptop so much. It is quiet, and more powerful than I could've hoped for. Not to mention portable!

I am very happy with my MacBook Pro. It is lightweight, fast and easy to use. I carry it with me everywhere I go because it is so lightweight. I am writing a dissertation so I have to go from my documents to internet constantly to embed research, utilize thesaurus and access email. I also have to pull up interview transcriptions and coded documents. During my work I have many document windows open that are needed simultaneously. The interchange between all of these platforms is flawless.

Excellent MacBook! It runs super fast no lags. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is my second macbook and I had my first one since 2010. Thats how long I was really happy with my first macbook and the only reason I had to purchase a new one is that my old one got stolen. The M1 chip definitely is a plus. No surprise, its fast and very streamlined. My macbook can hold unlimited huge applications such as adobe creative suite and pro tools. Pros: Fast, light, and powerful for its size Cons: I had to adjust to the latest tech only offering usb-c ( had to buy a converter)

Amazing laptop! I am very impressed with the M1 chip that Apple has created. The computer runs extremely quick with it being the base model. It is amazing that you can even run iPhone or iPad apps on the computer as well! The display is very crisp just like my 2012 MacBook Pro with Retina display. I have not had a computer with a Touch Bar, but Apple has not disappointed with theirs! The only thing that I would suggest is more USB-C ports. It just has 2, but that is not a hindrance on using the computer.

I LOVE IT! I first got the Macbook Air 2020 in July. I’m a design student and I use Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and a lot more. But with the air it does heat up the more and longer I use it. I finally purchased this M1 chip and I love it! Much faster than the macbook air, doesnt crash even after using 5 prgrams at the same time. I could go on a day without the battery dying and it doesnt heat up!

perfect size for a backpack. works well. i can use it 90% of the time. in school i needed to use microsoft access but this is not supported on macbooks. Had to resort to my old windows pc to use this.

This MacBook is amazing. I have multiple Intel based Macs that cost thousands of dollars and this M1 chip MacBook blows every one of them out of the water. I get blazing fast performance, and long battery life out of this machine. It does everything faster than my Intel Macs, even though it has half the memory. I have zero regrets with this purchase. By far, it's the best MacBook I've ever owned and I have been a Mac user since the early 2000's.

The M1 chip is a game changer. From the amazing battery life, to the iOS apps that can now be installed and work seamlessly, to yes the Touch Bar, it is a great MacBook. I do not mind that there is only two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. There is a headphone jack still which is nice. This laptop handles anything I throw at it. I do not use FCP or anything like that but for everyday use and professional use, this laptop with impress and handle it well.

Beautifully designed and manufactured, even if the design has not changed in some time. Incredibly fast with the M1 processor, even running Ms Office under emulation. Crisp bright display, responsive keyboard and trackpad. Super portable powerhouse with amazing battery life. Highly recommend it.

An amazing computer worked so great works fast and it’s so beautiful in person

I am so glad I purchased this MacBook. It was my first experience with an apple product Beyond graphic design an undergrad decades ago. I had been operating with Lenovo for work and a Chromebook for home before this upgrade. It is possibly the most comfortable computer I've worked on. The only downsides are that it does not flip to a tablet mode and I cannot draw or design on the screen I needed to purchase a separate plug-in component for that.

Love it! It’s quick, perfect size to carry with you. I normally use it at work, to work away from the desktop.

Love my MacBook Pro with the M1 chip and Touch Bar. My older MacBook Pro slid off the counter and broke, so I had no choice to upgrade. I’m sad that this version does not have the usb ports like my old one so I took off a star. Apple needs to do better and add the ports back. I’ve seen they had added the magnetic chargers back on the newer models, as this model does not have it. All in all I do like this MacBook Pro, and it does everything I need it to do. The Touch Bar is a fun feature on this model, but I really do miss having the built in ports so I don’t have to worry about having to make sure I have my dongle adapter with me at all times!

Works perfectly for college! Fast, enough storage, and the touch bar is perfect!
