It’s an amazing machine and everything runs perfectly but I was was given incorrect information and in the future I cannot upgrade the ram to become a 16gig and I have to remain with the 8gig of ram. I was very specific when purchasing and by the time I save my money to get the other 8 gig added it was past the return mark very upsetting that I have to settle for what I have I would’ve made a more educated decision if I was given the correct information from the sales person.

I love my laptop high speed and high quality. I like the most feature is that it has a touch bar .

My daughters 2 computer. We did an upgrade. It’s very light weighted computer easy to use and very fast.

I love this laptop. I was waiting until the new ones were announced to purchase one, so I could compare them. I decided on the M1 because I didn't need all that extra power and the price tag was more affordable on the M1. It is still lightening fast and does everything I need it to do. I was worried about the 8GB of Ram, but I've never had the computer slow down or show signs of struggling. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The touchbar is really ideal for my forgetful son. Computer has done great for my son's first year in college.

I chose to purchase this computer as an open-box item, to save on cost. I was happily surprised that all of the parts and features seemed like new, and the computer is definitely functional. This purchase allowed me to upgrade my pre-existing programs and operating systems. For example, Zoom now allows me to install virtual backgrounds, so that I no longer need to use a clunky green screen. For Mac advocates, this is a really nice computer.

Apple has always been my go to product. Mac book is very light. Display is awesome

2 years of use and still like new. I bought this for my dad to use it in Europe, no issues of using it in different continent.

Its a decent laptop, but overall its a bit disappointing given the price. You hear a lot of great things about the M1 and for the most part it works really good for simple tasks (3 tabs and 2 simple programs). I however had 8 tabs open with 2 programs (word and outlook)and it would slow down and this isnt a huge amount of open tabs. The tabs that were didnt have much going on (no videos playing or charts which were being updated ever few seconds). The thing is that the gpu is weak and the 8 gigs of ram isnt enough especially for the price. I know most people will say thats the apps fault or the broswer/sites fault but in all honesty this is something apple should have had fixed before releasing the product. The battery life is really good and with a mobile chip it should be of all your doing is browsing, it lasted 4 days when i used it 3 to 4 hours a day however when i was using none apple apps the battery life was about a third of what i got when just using safari , still really good but nothing crazy.I think you should wait until the M1 is stronger with much better gpu performance. Besides that the screen is great the build is great and the speakers are soild but your not buying a laptop just because it feels good in hand.
