Perfect college laptop for online courses and productivity apps

Well what to say … Perfect in all the ways possible!

I replaced my stolen i7 MacBook Pro 13” 16gb 1 tb HD. with the M1 MacBook Pro 250 HD 8gb. 13”. The price was 1/3 of my previous laptop. My regret was not getting a TB HD. I just installed parallels and windows 10. Works flawlessly. M1 speed is amazing. Battery life is unbelievable. Replacing my laptop has been a wonderful relief. I didn’t have to spend another 3500 to replace the performance I had.

The only thing I regret is not getting this with larger storage. Outside of that this M1 Macbook has been amazing! I use it for video editing, live streaming on Twitch at 1080p 60fps, and just casual browsing. As a former Windows user, I'm very excited to see where Mac takes this line of products moving forward. Don't expect to game on it though.

Replaced failing Macbook air from 2017 with sticky keys after 21 year daughter spilt her margarita on it. A few months later, the fan started running full blast and overheating. She wanted the latest tech from Apple with more storage and also likes the touchbar. Size selection is comparable to what she had before and is light enough for carrying around including in her bookbag in grad school.

This MacBook Pro M1 is amazing. Even though I cheated out and got the base Pro model, this laptop still does me good with almost 15-17 hours of battery life if I'm doing normal surfing the web thing like watching YouTube etc. It also provides me with about 13-14 hours of battery life if I'm playing Minecraft or Roblox. I've never felt this laptop go hot or the fans turn on only if of course, try to test it out with like 50+ tabs. Being a 16 year old, this laptop brings me enough and for people who would use it for work or school I would recommend, Just to let you guys know. if you are going to be turning on your camera a lot for school, work, or even just chatting with other people I think you're better off getting a separate camera that'll connect to the laptop because of the 720p camera and it's kinda bad in my opinion, but let me tell you the microphone quality is amazing and I get compliments from people who I play games with. I would recommend this MacBook Pro to anyone and I can't wait until the new MacBooks come out.

Fantastic laptop! Performs well handles tasks with ease!

Drastic improvement from the dinosaur that I previously owned. The track pad cues are smooth and very convenient. Although some may gripe that apple hasn't produced a touch screen laptop, I think the touch bar is just the right amount of touching of screens. Very easy to use. Did I mention that I just transitioned from PC to Mac? Yeah it's wonderful. I should be set for the next decade.

A phenomenal machine. The touch bar at the top of the keyboard does almost everything a true touch screen does - only you don't have to reach up and smear your screen to use it. Options change with the program too. Lots of ease of use and productivity aspects - just need someone to show you or do some research. Do wish it was an inch bigger. Very light and portable. Love it

Love my computer. If you want something that allows privacy, works well, very fast, I suggest buying this. The M1 chip works miracles and for what it’s worth, it’s a good buy for college students who wish to focus on school. If you are a gamer obviously Mac isn’t for you, but if you don’t mind and want to focus on school this is an amazing computer.

Saleperson was great. The Macbook is light, sleak and is really fast.

I'm really enjoying this latest MacBook. I upgraded from a 2017 version and I'm quite surprised how fast this is compared to my last one. Plenty of speed and storage for what I use it for, as well as being fairly portable and light to carry on a daily basis. I very much recommend this if you're upgrading after 2+ years. I'd imagine it might not be much of a jump if you have a 2019ish machine?
