By far the best MacBook in years. Superb battery life (if you kill this in a day then you are either constantly using it or doing some heavy video editing work etc.), legitimate processing power (just look at reviews), fantastic keyboard and class competing if not leading track pad. Still the same excellent and class leading speakers, along with a great screen. The whole package. The cherry on top is the Rosetta software translator that means you can use nearly any software, x86 or specific ARM software. Windows machines with ARM processors don't even come close nor do a LOT of windows machines running Intel or AMD processors compete with power and fantastic battery life this machine offers. If you have an intel MacBook you bought at the beginning of 2020 then you should still sell it and buy this one even with taking a hit to your wallet. Your future self will thank you.

Apple has out done it self with the new M1 chip. I upgraded from and old MS surface book with an Intel i7 CPU. This MacBook Pro just screams performance. Onto of the great performance, the battery life is phenomenal.

This is by far the best laptop I have ever owned. The battery life is amazing, and applications load and run super-fast. The screen is bright and clear. Keep in mind that it only has two USB-C ports (and a headphone jack), so you will definitely want to purchase a dock or dongle to use SD cards and other peripheral devices.

So nice I bought it twice. Again, Awesome laptop. I was skeptical about the M1 processor but it has been smooth sailing. The Touch Bar also is very handy when switching applications as it synchs with whatever application you have up making it easier to maneuver through your tasks.

I have been using Apple products for years, and I upgraded from MacBook Air to MacBook Pro when M1 chip came out, and this significantly enhance my ability get things done with my laptop. It’s very fast compared to intel chip. Love the features and ease of use.

Excellent laptop - work and non-work. Use daily and with O365 suite, Adobe Pro, Teams, Zoom. No performance issues with M1 processor. Only issues are no innate support for multi monitor use via docking station and so so camera. Battery life excellent as well.

Purchased on a great deal and wanted to check out the M1 processor. This laptop is my favorite MacBook so far. The battery life is phenomenal and performance is better than my 15" MacBook Pro for day to day tasks. 8GB RAM goes a long way with the unified memory structure...manages memory extremely well.

Awesome laptop! Performs fast, keyboard is soft to use, and it has such a good look; I got space gray! Only thing was it works a bit slow when I have many things open (I like to multitask) and it has crashed on me once, making me lose half my work. However, I believe it's worth the money.

I Upgraded from a 8 year old MacBook that finally went out. The newer version is fast, and current. With all the things I need. Faster then needed and easy to use. I’m confident that I’ll get at least another 8 years out of this one.

Pros- The battery is the best part about this new Mac m1 chip series, It lasts for days. It’s your Mac book pro, as you expect, fast, nice Retina display, sleek design, headphone jack, great back lit keyboard, awesome track pad, good sound quality, Touch ID is nice feature as well. It’s got Mac OS, and I always liked how it functions, and I like the programs that are offered for it. If you are involved with the Apple ecosystem, you get the best deal, Apple Watch helps unlock it, iPad can be used as secondary device, plus all their services sync together on here. Cons- Sometimes third party Bluetooth devices are a little difficult to connect. The price is pretty steep. The is only 2 usb type c ports. The touch bar takes away the function keys and it’s kind of cool for some programs, but I do miss the tactile feeling for basic stuff like volume and screen brightness, and I don’t like tapping the Siri button by mistake here and there. The track pad sometimes cramps up my hand after long usage. The camera that comes with it isn’t great quality.

For the price, the performance of this configuration is incredible. I used to heavily upgrade my Macbooks at purchase to be able to handle heavy use, but the new A1 chip makes that extra spending unnecessary unless you are a truly "pro" user. Plus the battery life is scary good. Very satisfied.

This is my second macbook laptop I bought, and I love it. I had the macbook air but didn’t like it because of the fan noise and running hot. I wanted to get the Macbook Pro M1 after all the hype, and I love it! I mainly use it for college work and was worth every penny!

I upgraded from my 2015 version and really like this updated version. The Touch Bar makes things easier with the things you’re able to do with it. Battery life is also very good. The display also shows well. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
