Was debating on buying it at first. Seen all kinds of reviews on YouTube going back and forth about how good or bad it is. So I said I’d just buy it and return it if it doesn’t live up to my expectations. Because I do a nice amount of video editing primarily on Premiere and wouldn’t mind trying FCPX especially with these new 10bit codecs it might help out. And MANNNNNNNNN IM IN LOVE, long story short I shot a wedding with the Sony A7SIII in 4k -422-10bit -(XAVC-S)… and this MacBook Pro cut through the files like butter. My 2017 i7 1TB SSD 16gb ram froze up every time unless I used proxies… but..this was when using FCPX or Davinci Resolve …. But premiere just did a new update and I heard it’s finally Better with the M1 … oh and did I mention that the 10min long wedding video exported in less then 10minutes from FCPX….. I love it and can’t even image what the M1X or M2 will do

Just received I defiantly notice a processor overhaul in terms of apple branded apps ( Safari, App Store , Mail and Apple Music ) . Battery life is pretty good but going to see how that works out over next months with heavy use as I do a lot of word , excel and open office usage .

Great computer. Just what I was expecting. The M1 apple chip is just amazing. I updated my old Macbook pro from 2015 and the difference is abismal, I am a photographer and I can run Lightroom and photoshop at the same time without hearing the fan. I highly recommend this product.

Great overall just wish I could of found the 16gb ram model but I can't find it anywhere! Not even on Apples website I find it weird BUT! 8gb is cutting it close but it works I have a multi dock connected to it and a 4tb external drive hooked to it as well as a 4k monitor and no major problems looks clean runs smooth but some programs crash at times but I am running Motion and than Final Cut Pro but definitely not both at the same time. Overall it works for what I need it for -1 star because it's 8gb of ram and it's pushing it

I had a MacBook about ten years ago and was impressed by the performance and build quality, this computer took my expectations and blew them away. Amazing battery life, huge selection of apps, and fantastic performance. Will never return to using windows machines after this.

What can I say other than “Apple does it again” and “MacBooks are the best” which they absolutely are. The battery life on this thing is outrageous. So much better than my 2018 MacBook that I had previously before upgrading to this one. The screen is superb and the processing power is awesome. I’m not editing crazy videos or doing any rendering but for what I need this thing is amazing. I do edit some homemade videos and stuff but again nothing too crazy. You can have a bunch of programs running and this thing doesn’t skip a beat. Not to mention that if you own a lot of Apple products such as an iPhone, iPad, etc. the device continuity is unlike any other. I love being able to jump from device to device if I need to and have everything I need on my cloud from any device. As long as Apple keeps making MacBooks, this is the laptop that i’ll always use.

Gift for college student, who was knowledgeable of MB Pro. She loves it and is highly pleased with light-weight, screen colors, and speed. OS will allow her to take on any pre-Med assignments and part-time tutoring other students. Truly a masterpiece of computers!

Purchased for my daughter, so that she use to video edit on the go. She absoluetly loves because it is fast and portable. The M1 chip is great, it allows her to breeze through task fast and efficent. It will last for years to come, because of the build quality.

The MacBook is perfect for my use. I have to do weekly communications to my organization and the MacBook does a great job fast and easy to maneuver. I love it and wood purchase another MacBook Pro again.

The GOAT of all laptops for me. Sleek, Fast, And reliable. if you can swing it. Wing it and grab this amazing Apple product. I can't put into words how much I love it. All I can say is if you're a fan of their previous laptops. This. WILL. Blow. Your. Mind.

Excellent for a student. I have had no issues with lag, or slow responsiveness. My main use is for canvas/YouTube. Having multiple tabs opened has never caused an issue. Great battery life. I can go through three 2 hour zoom meetings and still be above %50 battery life.

Perfect for back to school, this macbook pro is both fast and portable. the display is unmatched, and it has speeds like none other. One thing to keep in mind, however, is the screen. The screen collects dust and fingerprints quite easily, so beware.

The M1 chip is super fast. Compatibility has not been a problem. I was skeptical of the Touch Bar at first, but it’s actually very useful. The metal body feels ultra premium and the keyboard and trackpad are top notch. You can’t go wrong with the MacBook Pro.

Purchased for my niece to start college. We have made it through a whole semester without any issues. I also purchased an additional Mac book for my other niece that graduated high school. The quality of apple is worth every penny.

To be honest, best MacBook Pro I’ve ever had, even at the base model, it’s extremely fast, clean design and easy to use. The associates that helped me out at the West Hollywood location were also knowledgeable and quick to help me out. Big thanks to ya’ll.

I love my new Mac! It’s everything I wanted. I love the touchbar. The music output is amazing, the speakers get so loud. And the battery life is great; doesn’t die fast and charging is super fast. Went from 11% to like 90% within an hour. I’m glad I made this purchase.

WOW, this thing is great! The new M1 processor is incredibly fast, and I love the new touch bar across the top of the keyboard. It allows you to adjust the volume and screen brightness so easily. I'm confident this will be the last laptop i buy for a while.

Very nice, very well made, but would recommend getting more than 8GB RAM. You cannot upgrade afterwards.

My first work laptop and probably my last for a real long time, the battery is outstanding, the retina display is beautiful and perfect for both work and regular content consumption. Solid performance thanks to m1 definitely would recommend
