Mac to last several yrs

He was in need of a new laptop for all his medical classes he's taking in high school & then also for his music that he creates at home. And then i also was hoping 2 find a laptop that he could use @ least his 1st year of college in 1yr. I researched several different laptops & this Mac had great reviews in every category. I have no Regrets

Great Mac but....

It's an apple...design is very slim with a nice graphite finish. Keyboard is greatly improved as well the welcome addition didn't think I'd use it much but it's proven to be rather useful. Cosmetics are great, it boots way faster than I'm used to which is awesome. now for the cons, bought this only 4 months ago and already having some issues such as a little image ghosting on the top left corner of the screen and apps don't seem to want to open as well as system updates fail everytime, took it to apple and it's currently being fixed free of charge under the limited warranty. One last thing, I acquired 599 points for this $1,200+ purchase and it was immediately taken back with no rhyme or reason, best buy has yet to disclose why or make this right.

Very good laptop

This is my first MacBook that I have ever owned and it meets my expectations coming from a windows user and building my own desktop pcs.I like how convenient the touch bar can be in most scenarios like putting the volume up or even switching up the brightness.
