13” MacBook Pro

It boots up quickly and does not get too hot. The software takes some getting used to, but after no time we could navigate and run programs with ease. I considered the air but decided on the pro as the research indicates that we will not “outgrow” the computer before my kids, ages 12 and 15, go to college.

Great with some quirks

This computer handles logic projects with ease. I have not tested a ton of third party plugins but my CLA stuff works fine. It has occasionally decided not to turn on and has gotten stuck in the boot up screen - requiring me to hard reset multiples times. A little concerning, but not a deal-breaker at this point.

Excellent for video editing

Love it!

It finally died after many, many years of operation. This model is not as heavy as his previous laptop and he loves it. It is much easier to use than a PC, the battery life is excellent and the M1 chip increases its processing power. Excellent purchase!

Apple is still the the number one go to brand in computers! Makes you want to be on the computer a real treat! I have a MS surface pro and that's a really good laptop/tablet, but after buying the MacBook Pro it's handily the better of the two! Don't think too hard about it , this is the laptop you want!!
