I’m an Apple lover , this computer is light , fast and has plenty of storage for all of my needs !

Making the transition from windows to Mac is a breeze and I absolutely love this computer! It is easy to navigate and I can take it on the go when I need to. The battery lasts for days which is a huge plus as I don't need to carry a bulky charger around. I also no longer have to deal with my cursor jumping over to a different sentence in the middle of me typing like windows does. I would definitely recommend this computer!

I had been using a MacBook Pro 16" for about 7 months before purchasing this model. I love this one more. This M1 model feels years ahead. It loads apps extremely fast. In fact, Photoshop loads in about a second compared to my previous MacBook that took 3 - 4 seconds to completely load. If you are trying to decide between MacBook versions this is the one to go with. The battery life is phenomenal! After 3 hours of use I am sitting at 91%.

I've used a Macbook Pro 15" 2017 for 5 years and it performed flawlessly until the screen went bad. I like the touchbar and size of this Macbook. The bootup process is quick and the processor handles everything that I throw at it. I run Parallels on the computer so that I can load Windows and it too has worked excellent. It's a fantastic computer that I hope to have for 5-10 years

This is the best computer I've ever had. It's beautiful, incredibly fast and has a wonderful display. Video of me on Zoom calls is even significantly better than on my Surface Pro Laptop at work, which is spec'd for software development. The battery life is extraordinary. After a full charge, I can use it for more than two days without having to recharge (that being said, I only use it after getting home from work).

Looks identical to my 2018 MacBook Pro but is light years faster! When my old Mac Mini "died" I decided to replace it with one of Apple's new M1 computers. I wanted a minimum of a 512 gb SSD and 8 gb of RAM. Other than that, either a MacBook Air, Pro or Mac Mini would be fine. I got a great deal on an open box MacBook Pro and could not be happier. I was initially a bit concerned about compatibility issues with software since the M1 laptops are based on an ARM processor. As things turned out, none of my applications have experienced any problems whatsoever. I should mention that I primarily use the laptop for business related purposes and do rely on Microsoft Office for quite a bit of my work. No problems there as the newly updated Office is optimized for the M1 Macs. My only gripe is the omission of the two Thunderbolt/USB C ports from the right side of the laptop on the new model. They were there on the Intel versions providing a total of 4 ports. I dealt with the issue by using a port extender that gives me the needed ports while plugging directly into the 2 USB C ports on the left side of the laptop. This resulted in a neat and tidy solution that takes up hardly any space! The new MacBook Pro also has the much improved (butterfly) keyboard that was missing on my 2018 MacBook Pro. This was the biggest problem I experienced on the old machine. All in all, I do not think you can go wrong with the new M1 Macs....so long as you do not have a software compatibility issue. If you need a new laptop now, go for it. If you do not have an immediate need, you may wish to wait for the next update to the M1 family which should come out later in 2021.

Best thing for a college student, and I love that it’s so light and come back I can bring it to school!!

We purchased this MacBook Pro and really like the Touch Bar, very fast, and easy to use! Very happy!

I love this computer. The first year of owning an M1 Mac was rocky but at this point, I prefer to do most of my work from this laptop. Performs most tasks just as fast if not faster than my windows desktop and lasts a full workday with battery leftover. The only shortcoming is the difficulty in running virtual machines, unless you use a paid option.

Love this laptop! Great price at Best Buy. Used to replace my 10 year old MacBook Air.

Battery lasts a long time which is a game changer. Lightweight and easy to use.

Great Mac with amazing performance for the specs, the battery life is phenomenal, and the amount of work I am able to get done is amazing. I use to bring my bulky charge with me with my old laptop because the battery life would last me about 4 hours max, now I can go all day without a charger and still have plenty of battery for the next day.

Bought for my wife for school. It does everything she needs without a problem.

So light weight, easy to use and very fast. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

It’s refreshing to return to using a MacBook after being forced to use a PC for work. I had so many problems with my PC’s processing capabilities, causing programs to crash. Even though this MacBook doesn’t have top-of-the-line RAM (only 8 GB), the M1 chip is awesome and I’ve had zero problems since making the switch back. Also, the built in speakers are really nice!

Super fast. Great battery life. Would prefer one or two additional usb C ports.
