Customers consistently note the MacBook Pro's excellent battery life, impressive performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate its lightweight design and the convenient Touch Bar, while some find the limited port selection and non-upgradable RAM to be drawbacks. Not for Media makers anymore
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of all the Macs I have owned, this one makes me not want to purchase Apple ever again. The M1 chip is crap. I got the Macbook Pro instead of the air because I deal with a lot of videos. But a lot of the software I use does not operate with the M1 chip. It also makes it harder to screen record audio and video at the same time. It plays quicktime video but it is a chore to record it. So it is not worth the extra money. I hate the butterfly keyboard and I hate that the Macbook Pro got rid of the card reader for cameras. The only reason to buy this more expensive Pro model in the first place was because it was media savvy. May as well get an air. Apple isn't for creatives anymore.

great computer but mostly if you only use apple so
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEWARE yes! A perfect device if you use APPLE SOFTWARE + ROSETTA valid software * search for compatible software besides that it wasn't good for my pc gaming needs yet and the loss of ports, storage mode, bluetooth in accuracies and very difficult RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS capabilities make this a no go for me now.

Don’t waste your money on an 8 GB memory Mac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is a really good thing however I got the 8 GB Memory version and I believe that was a mistake anyone getting a Mac whether a student or not should get at least a 16 GB laptop even if you have to save up.... NEVER EVER GET A 8GB MacBook

Selfish Apple MacBook Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.13” McBook Pro the same one without peripherals, very selfish small laptop, that’s overpriced and under value for much needed supported outlets. Does not meet the regular socio-economical strata of tech dependent families. Maybe seen as one of the greed oriented blunders Apple’s Steve J, would definitely not sign off on. Each of Apple’s MacBooks these days appeared to snub the rising entrepreneurship of the new generation. Gone are the days when Apple’s computer investment was seen as a lifeline of multiple connectivity that Steve J proudly presented some years ago. Greed has taken over.

Reconsider going with an Intel-based MacBook!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not recommend purchasing any MacBook with the M1 chip in it. I installed Adobe premiere pro and Google chrome on this laptop after the first day. I notice when you click on an app to open it, the computer just seems to have no response for a few straight seconds-- you're left wondering if you clicked it or if it froze. I had a few basic programs running (webpages, YouTube) and noticed it took just as long as my $250 lenovo laptop (with one of the lowest grade processing chips) to play a video. The video would just lag, play for 4 seconds, and then freeze so it can buffer. Very unimpressed-- apple obviously is just trying out their new M1 first generation chip which is a trial-joke run.. Oh yeah and apparently with most programs if they're not taken from within Apple itself (such as chrome, Microsoft office) good luck getting anything done. I didn't just drop $2,000 to wait for webpages to load and for videos to not play. Or wait for something that should just GO! and be done loading! Absolutely disappointed. Please reconsider going with an Intel-based MacBook. I've used MacBook laptops and their iMacs before; this is my first very own MacBook Pro and I was so excited. Bummer.
