I would only get about 4-5 hours real life out of my 2015 MACBOOK pro and/or my 12" MacBook. But this one give me about 12+ hours real life. Now I only charge every other day rather than 2x per day. Power, speed etc are great for me. Not gaming or crunching 4K video. Highly recommend especially at the sale price.

Anyway I went into my local Best Buy to pick up my first ever laptop and I had no idea what I was looking for in my first laptop. But when I got to the store I was quickly greeted in the computer section by a professional computer sales man. I told the salesman I was looking at open box laptops on the website because I wanted to get a good price and this professional salesman took me to look at the laptop I was asking about. I was impressed with the laptop we were looking at and I told him I was excited about having my first laptop! He told me it was a good computer but for the price on that laptop I would be better off buying the newest version of the product because the open box computer was from last year and a brand new one would be faster and brand new so I could start fresh. So I said what is the price difference on the new one, and he said I would save a little money on the newer model so I went with the new laptop and I am very happy with my purchase as a matter of fact I'm writing this review on my computer right now. so anyway I had a great experience at my local Best Buy in the computer section so I decided to share with y'all just incase you are on your way there to get yourself a new computer! Anyway get down there as soon as you can,you will not regret it!!

Super fast and long charge!

He had an older MacBook Pro and needed a new one. I was hesitant to get the new MacBook with the M1 chip since it hasn’t been around as long as the intel chip but according to my husband, the right decision was made! The battery life lasts for days and the speed cannot be beat. I wish the power cord was a bit longer but that’s a minor detail.

M1 MBP Knocks It Out of the Park

The battery literally lasts for days, and I work from home, and am in school full time so I am on it constantly. Note you cannot dual boot this MacBook, and ARM Windows in Parallels is only effective for certain uses, so be sure you want an M1 before spending the 1500+$. If you don't care about using Windows, this laptop is flawless.

Been a life long PC user, switching to Mac was seamless. MacOS is simple and intuitive. The advertised battery life is no joke. With normal everyday use I only charge it every other day. Only thing I would ding it on is the price for the upgraded storage. If you're looking to buy a new M1 Mac for everyday use stick to the base model.

Traded in my 2017 MacBook Pro that was starting to become sluggish with decreased battery life. This computer is blazing fast and has an impressive battery run time. You can actually have a brighter screen setting without compromising battery time. There is no delay in web page loading and you can run several programs at once. I would not hesitate to buy this computer again.
