Extremely fast processor, lots of memory, and easy setup and operation. Customer service was excellent. Very pleased with the purchase.

My sixteen daughter is amazed

The new M1 Chip rocks! And it is much lighter and thinner than her previous one. She is really happy to carry it to school!

Not Good for Video Editing

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This MacBook is very fast but has some design flaws in my opinion, and there are some bugs which cause it to crash and randomly shut off. I've noticed these so far when using programs like Adobe Premiere Pro and FL Studio. Premiere Pro in particular has a weird bug that any editor will notice within 5 minutes of using the software. I'm sure it's something they will work out in the next few updates, but as an editor who bought this machine to edit, it's frustrating. And the random crashes even more so. Also the fact that there are just two micro USB ports and a headphone port is frustrating. I understand wanting to be sleek but I need adaptors to plug anything into this machine, and I can't use my adaptor if I'm using power chord and display at the samer time, I have to chose between, making editing rather nightmarish at times when I'm running low on juice. I do not recommend this for any kind of video editing where having external monitors, sound and hard drives plugged in while also working for longth lengths of time is crucial.

The M1 chip is only first gen and has the best battery life and performance I have had on a MacBook Pro.
