One of the best purchased I've made, ordered one night, woke up to an email stating murchace was ready to pick up ! WOW ! fast service, exactly what I wanted and the best part ... My niece can't say enough about how dependable, operates smoothly while doing multiple tasks at same time. For those who want efficient service AND lots of freebies from Best Buy for the purchase ... Shop Best Buy !!!

Nevermind the iPads and iPhones.I was very skeptical of this model, but wanted to see what all the hype is about on these M1's. Pretty impressed over the last week or so that I've had it. Pretty snappy when multitasking. Loaded up Photoshop, Lightroom, Mail and multiple tabs in both Safari and Chrome. The machine didn't really suffer, though the memory swap was high in Activity Monitor. I very, very, very much dislike Big Sur, but that's the only option on the M1's. For the money, it seems worth it, particularly for the "average" user.

Good upgrade from older models

After having only 1 port I’m quite thrilled to now have 2. The included charge bock charges the MacBook Pro very quickly. The battery lasts a long time while in standby and casual use. I do notice the 1 lb difference in weight from the 2015 MacBook (which I loved for its size and portability), but I’m so much happier with the extra screen real-estate. I haven’t really noticed and compatibility issues yet with the M1 processor. Everything I’ve tried so far has worked well. Though I’m not a power user.

MacBook for Graphic Design

I’m a Graphic Design Student so I run all kinds of software on my computer. I originally wanted the 16” laptop, but I can’t afford that at the moment. However, the M1 chip and the other reviews sold me. I was concerned about the compatibility with the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, but I am pleased to say I have had no issues. I am loving my new laptop and am able to have a smoother workflow and get projects done quicker.

Great speed, Good power, Very few ports

Yes, I can buy an extension hub. But I also need to connect a thunderbolt 2 device. So need to buy a giant hub and another adapter. It would be a lot helpful if they had separate charger slot and perhaps a couple more ports.
