Dead on year two

I purchased in 2022.. After much lack luster performance..I realized I was sold a 2020 M1 model..Now two years later the thing is dead.. No apple service shops in my area..Best Buy’s geek squad is a joke.. I wouldn’t recommend buying a M1 Mac Book Pro or purchasing your apple product from Best Buy..there are so many other options to consider

Good battery life and build quality

The M1 chip is so power efficient, the battery can easily last for a whole day. Currently, there are some compatibility issues with the new chip, specially when it comes to virtual machines. If you have critical apps that needs specific virtualization to run, it might not work on M1 macs.
