Best lap too I’ve ever used hands down. The build quality of the Apple computers are second to money. The speed and battery life are second to none

    New M1 Chip is Awesome

Purchase for my daughter for school. She had a MacBook Air previously. This computer is about the same size (for the most part), yet the battery life is better, it has their new keyboard, touch bar at the top, and it’s running Apple’s new M1 chip, which is really fast and runs cool. Screen is great! iCloud keeps everything synchronized across her various Apple devices. Yes, you may pay a premium for a MacBook, but I have no doubt that this computer will last her for years without seeming sluggish over time. So long as you do not have any programs that need to run virtually in Windows (through Boot Camp or an emulator), there really is no reason to stay away from the new M1 chip (although M1-optimized programs do run faster than their older intel-centric versions).

I'm really content with my new MacBook pro M1. The bestbuy member was very informed about the new M1 chip and really educated me on getting this one instead of the Intel chip MacBook. I had 14 days til return it but I ended up keeping it. I'm really happy of the power it has. Because the M1 chip consumes less CPU, then the battery lasts way longer. After a full charge, I'd use the laptop and after 30 minutes, it would still be at 100 or 99 percent battery. Battery is GREAT! Doesn't over heat even when I have multiple tabs and programs open. I run music production software which do use a lot of cpu and was watchful of the CPU and so far it's held up. The M1 chip is revolutionary for Apple. It's worth it!

This new Macbook Pro is such an amazing product for just a one year update. You get 12+ hours of battery life with mixed usage, better performance, and more for your money. For a model like this, you had to get an intel i7 for better performance which cost $150 dollars more. Now that all macs in this category have M1, all performance is the same across the board. It's crazy how Apple went from the least of performance for your money, to now you get the most performance for your money because, in 2019, you got a $1299 Macbook Pro with an 8th gen CPU and a Macbook Air got an i3 Y series, other PC's were way more capable because they had 10th gen U series intel chips in this category. Now with M1, Apple is going against intel 45 watts CPUs that start around $1699 like the Dell Xps 15, Microsoft Surface Book 3, Hp Spectre 15 etc... Not to mention the compatibility with iPhones, Ipads and Macs when integrated together, this is the best Mac for its time.

I have had a late 2011 MacBook Pro prior to my purchase. My MacBook Pro was running fine, but I couldn’t use the apps I wanted so I upgraded. I’ve read reviews on the new MacBook M1’s and I was skeptical at first because of it’s new chip. Once getting the New MacBook myself I soon realized how much I LOVE this machine! Everything runs smooth! A lot faster than my MacBook Pro 2011 and that MacBook Pro had an i7 processor and 16gigs of ram! I have a standard 8gigs now and I haven’t yet heard any of the fans kick in! An amazing design! Only downside is the ports. I had to purchase additional adapters, which I fine by me. This is now my go to computer for editing video and pictures!

I like this computer quite a bit, the only reason it's getting 1 star less than 5 is because I use the camera a lot and it's only a 720P camera the M1 chip has great battery life and the device lasts throughout my entire day of browsing, watching videos, using email, and word processing. It does video editing, but I would recommend waiting till the m1x is available if you're a video editor or like the GPU for gaming. Other than this, if you use it in the capacities I mentioned above. This is a great daily driver laptop! -- AND I was able to get it at a great price brand new sealed in-box! $1250 is a great price! Lastly, I actually like the touch bar. I think it looks amazing and It is incredibly functional, unlike other touch surfaces we see companies try to use on modern devices.

I would be here for hours explaining and expressing how amazing this laptop is from the power, speed, stylish and slim. The display is amazing bringing so much detail to what you are viewing in it (crystal clear). Let’s not even get started with the Touch Bar, I just have to say that this Touch Bar is the most amazing thing I have used. This has definitely brought the efficiency of time on a task on my laptop, once you get make yourself aware and familiar with it you will be effortlessly cruising through your editing and or anything you have going on on your screen. Like I said... I would be here for hours... I suggest you get it and see for yourself.

Absolutely love this computer. The battery life is astonishing. The performance is one of kind on such a portable and light machine, with an amazing build. I'm a student that does editing and this baby is amazing. I have yet to see the performance throttle or the computer heat up. The fans rarely come on. TBH I don't know when they come on, but it's super silent and not distracting. This computer is perfect for students or anyone wanting to get into video, photo, or audio or any kind of editing. Don't recommend for games unless it's something from the apps store. All in all, this purchase will not fail you.

I grew up on Windows and switched to a MacMini in 2012 after falling in love with an iPad Mini and later iPad Pro and iPhones. I bought this for myself at Christmas when it came out. Started with the 256 HD and returned for the 512 HD because once I used it, realized how great the M1 chip and features were and knew I would have it for a long time. Battery life and Touch pad are great and Im getting used to the Touch Bar. Very happy with this awesome machine.

I already own a Macbook pro of the intel variant. When compared to that, this latest M1 processor far better in terms of performance. It lasts for around 18-20 hrs of normal operations or up to 5 days on light browsing and syncing emails from a battery perspective. One limitation when compared to intel based device, you cant upgrade the RAM and SSD as an M1 processor or hard soldered as one piece. So the only option is, you have to upgrade at the time of purchase itself. Second, you cannot boot load Windows in the latest M1 processor, whereas intel models support that.

I replaced my 12 year old MacBook Pro with this newer 13.3 (2020) model and it is amazing. It has a long battery life, brilliant retina display and blazing speed. This is also a very solid built unit similar to my old MBP. I really like the newly designed touch pad, keyboard and trackpad which is different from my older unit. The only thing I have to get used to is the new model only has two USB-C ports but the purchase of a docking adaptor solves that problem. I am very satisfied with my purchase!
