    Somewhat of a split decision... I love having proper ports back on Macbooks. but the notch in the center top of the screen is hard to live with. Particularly since the notch is not there for face unlock -- does not exist on this machine.

    While the laptop itself is great, mine died before the 5 months mark without any warning. Completely dead. It’s still under the first year warranty, so I wasn’t charged for the repair. Otherwise Apple charges $728 to repair it. Consider insuring your investment.
